I huff out as sigh through my nose. "He's being serious." Max makes is very obvious he doesn't believe my words. "You know, I'm not really a fan of the Dutch?" I say to no one in particular. My eyes are focused ahead of me as I say the words. When I look up to the Dutchman, his mocking looks now turn offended. George is the one to throw his head back in laughter now.
I smile to myself, knowing I've successfully steered the conversation in another direction. "C'mon." I link my arm with Max's and lead the both of us to the motorhome. "Bye Georgie!" Max yells to the British man, knowing he hates the nickname. The Mercedes driver's once smiling face turns stone as he whips his head around to give Max a glare. I bite back a laugh and drag Max into the motorhome.
"Did you know that adults are plenty capable of walking on their own?" Max sarcastically comments. I tilt my head. "You're an adult? That's crazy I thought you were a toddler!" The sarcastic response earns me a pinch on the arm that's interlocked with his, causing me to unlink us.
I look down at the now reddened area. "That didn't help your case one bit." I shake my head and leave him to find some food. My stomach feels like it's caving in on itself.
When I find the much awaited food and sit down, my phone buzzes from my back pocket.
George
George -when are you flying out?
Ariella I'm not going to Italy until the 14th- But Parker and I are going to LA tomorrow-
George -why LA?
Ariella So we can find hot movie stars duh- kidding, we're gonna watch a baseball game- Why do you ask when I'm flying out?-
George -idk I was curious
