I started humming the song me and Ace had danced to yesterday
I blushed as I flipped the pancake and moved my hips a bit

"Well someone sure is in a good mood" my mom said coming in

I jumped a bit and turned to look at her "o-oh uhm...yeah" I let out a little giggle

"Why" my mom asked

"Well I just, I'm happy that my birthday was yesterday" I laughed awkwardly

My mom made a "hm" sound like if she weren't too convinced

"Hey so uhm" I cleared my throat switching up the topic

"Can I maybeeee...go out with boa in the afternoon"

"Why?"

"Well because she said she was going to take me somewhere to eat" I said

Of course that was lie, Ace asked me if we could meet them today at 6 in a park

"Hmm I don't know, you already went out with her yesterday" she said washing the dishes

"Pleaseee" I clasped my hands together

"Ugh fine...but only because her family is like friends/family to us" she said

"Thank you" I hugged her

"Wait Where's dad?" I asked

"He's working the whole day, that police job has him really busy"

"Oh" I looked away

It was already 6:30 before I realized, oh shit I'm late
I put some shorts in and a crop top but a hoodie on top so my mom wouldn't see

"Nope, no shorts" my mom said looking at me

"But mom!? It's so hot outside" I whined

"Pants, or don't go" my mom said

Pants in the park!? I would rather die

I sighed and then thought of something "okay mom"

I went up to my room and put some baggy jeans above my shorts

"Hehe" I giggled

When I said bye to my mom again, I finally got on to boa's car
And took of my hoodie and pants in her car and left them there

When we got to the park I saw Ace skating
While Sabo and koala where sitting down
And luffy chasing a dog

"Finally!" Luffy said looking at us
