Miel smiled and then looked at his armor, remembering that he tried to take it off a couple days ago. Before she could say anything, she heard Keyleth come up next to them

"So, your armor, you, um..." she hesitated a bit, "getting more used to it?" Vax and Miel glanced at her, "I did notice you trying to budge it off one time" she chuckled

"Hard to get used to a relic of the Goddess of Death" Vax answered a bit gloomly

"Still, you have her vestige now. Maybe you could ask her for help"

"Ask the Matron of Ravens? Somehow, I doubt she'd listen"

"You could try"

Vax chuckled slightly, thinking that Keyleth was just being an optimist as usual. Until Miel spoke up

"Actually, Keyleth is right" she said getting Vax's attention, "The Matron of Ravens isn't cruel, she just doesn't want people playing around with death and resurrection. If you want to ask her for help, she'll answer her champion's call. You actually can give it a try if you find her shrine" Vax hummed in thought, making sure to keep that in mind for later

As they kept walking, the wind was getting colder as they moved closer to the top. Everyone was shivering as they walked since none of them exactly had on the right clothes for the cold.

"Oh man" Scanlan groaned

"There it is" Keyleth spoke up when she looked to the horizon to see another, ore taller mountain, "Rimecleft"

"The place I saw in that vision" Vax said

"The entire range is eternally cold" Keyleth said

"Except Pyrah" Miel chuckled coming up next to the Ashari, "You know there's a myth about it?"

"Y-yeah, m-maybe save the myth?" Scanlan shivered out, "my balls are ice cubes"

"Hard to believe we're gonna find a Spinx in this forsaken place" Vax said

"I'm as cold as a corpse" Vex said shivering, "and I don't think I want to experience that" she glanced at Miel. Then, their human gunsliger drapped his jacket on her shoulders. "Oh no, Percy I didn't mean-"

"No, please take it. I'm fine" he sniffed as a blush cover his cheeks.

Miel and Keyleth glanced at each other and let out a little giggle. Keyleth grabbed Miel's hand and brough it up between the two of them, palm facing up. Miel got the idea and made a ball of fire. Keyleth then used her power to control the ball of flame and made it bigger.

"Here, we'll help" she said as everyone gathered around

"Hey, neat trick girls" Scanlan complimented

"Yeah, not bad" Vax followed

Miel looked back at him, "can you even get cold in that?" she smirked

"That kind of brings me back to Sylas" Scanlan spoke up, "remember when you melted his face off?"

Grog laughed, "I like cold. Makes my niffles tingly" he said as they all started to walk

Miel chuckled as they walked.  Then she noticed that Pike was trying to talk to him and he played it off as him needing to help Scanlan.

"Don't you worry, Scanlan" he said as he picked him up and pulled out some sort of cloth, "uncle Groggy's gonna help keep you warm" he chirped and wrapped up Scanlan around the front of his chest like a baby-carrier. Scanlan seem to struggle for a bit before he gave up. Again, Pike tried to talk to him and he cut her off, "Oh, you want a bouncy?" he asked Scanlan and caught up with the rest of them, "A bounce, a bounce, a bounce we go" Miel chuckled as he caught up to them
