Raine's POV

*Flashback*

"Jace" I called out to him and he hums in response
"How do you think our wedding would be like"? I asked him and he just chuckled lightly, he was drawing circles on my thighs

We had just finished watching a movie and were lying down on the ground with blanket and pillows littering the whole place, his head was on my stomach, while I was lying straight.

"Angel, we aren't even getting married now, so why are you asking" he says playfully and I just shrug

"I just wanna know, what you picture it to be" I say playing with his hair.

"Well if you must know baby, I'd like a very small wedding, minimal guests, probably your parents, my step mom, Ryan and a few close friends" he says making me smile at him

"How about we do a garden wedding, just like your parents did" I suggest and he looks up at me nodding his head.

"That'll do too baby, just a small garden wedding, and you'll wear the most pretty wedding dress to be ever made" he said flicking my nose making me giggle

"And you'll look handsome in your tux, making other women be envious of me, because I'll have the most handsome husband there ever was" I say ruffling his hair and he just bust out laughing.

"I love you Raine" he says looking at me and I bend and peck his lips.

"I love you more Jace"

*End of flashback*

All of that was just an illusion, they were words and wishes that'll never come true.

Because here I am, dressed in a beautiful wedding dress, yes, walking down the isle to the man I once loved, yes, but not having my dream wedding.

Like he promised, I look beautiful just like an angel but I felt nothing short of a slave.
I was putting on a very beautifully designed wedding dress but I was unhappy.

He looked handsome, as handsome as I pictured him to be, the day he asked me to marry him, but he was no longer that man.

A lot had changed, he had no emotions in his eyes for me, just a burning desire for revenge

Dad was walking me down the isle, I wasn't even nervous, I just wanted this to be over with.
Everyone thought we were a loving couple but we were far from that.

The story he fed the media, definitely painted us out to be long lost love sweethearts that found each other after years of being apart but he knew deep down that, that's not the case.

We got to where he was standing and he took my hands and helped me up the altar, he was looking me dead in the eyes and it affected me so much

The talking and exchanging of vows lasted for a while but it was finally over with, now it was the part he had to kiss me.

He took off my veil and pulled me close to him by my waist, his touch alone was doing crazy things to me.

He bent slowly before his lips came close to mine as his breath was fanning my face.

I closed my eyes because I didn't wanna see the look on his face, I felt it cold on my lips and slowly he started moving them.

They were soft but the kiss was anything but soft, it was hard, rough and intense.
I could literally feel like my lips would draw blood at how he was sucking on it.
