I am oblivious.

My friends would tell me that you loved me too and that you simply waited for me to confess.

They'd pester me over and over to confess to you and how you'd immediately fall into my hands, chanting yes like a fairytale.

I laughed at them

I always thought it was impossible that you would love me back.

You were so out of my league.

I was a coward.

I valued our friendship so much.
