Which is annoying, all people do is criticize me for every little thing. I go into the lockers room and I see my teammates, I go up to my little group, consisting of Cami, Sara, and Alex.

"Are you guys nervous?" Sara asks

"Definitely," I say

"Okay, guys! We have to head to the tunnel for warm-up, uh Bruna you stay right here for a bit, the rest of y'all, head to the tunnel" my coach says.

Everyone leaves, oh god. am I not going to play? Then I hear some footsteps. "She's in there," my coach says
"Thanks, Mrs. DeLuca," I hear Pablo's voice say. Pablo? He walks in, he smiles at me.

"Hey b," gavi says hugging me. I hug him back smiling to myself. Before I can say anything.

"I got you a little something," He says.

"You didn't have to get me anything," I say as he hands me a box, I open it and I see this silver soccer charm with my initial and my number on the back.

"Aww gavi I love it," I say hugging him super tight

He kisses me on my head, I look up at him and he says
"No matter what the score is, I'm super proud of you."

I kiss him on the lips. Oh shit. "Oh. Bee.,"Oh my god I'm so stupid, I try walking away but then he grabbed my hand and kissed me on my lips.

"Good luck b," he says with a huge smile

"Thank you," I say back, I walk to the tunnel

I see the cameras on me and I pretend I don't see them, it's pretty dark in there then there was a light, I see the pitch and then I walk up the stairs to make it on the field, I hear yelling, cheers and clapping and then we line up and then the Barcelona anthem starts playing after that its Madrid turn.

We do quick stretching and a warm-up, I'm ready, this is all I've been dreaming of.

We head to our positions, cami is in front of me, and she does a motion that means calm down, I look down at my boots and click them two times, and it's game time.

Alex passes the ball to Sara- 30 seconds
I see one of Madrid's forwards running with the ball I wait till she gets next to me and slide tackle her -11:56 minutes into the game.

She falls and then one of Madrid's forwards gives me a dirty look but I just brush it off.

I see the ball is open, I run over to the ball and see Cami, and pass it to her, I run to the corner and she passes it to me and I cross it into the box and she scores with a header- GOAL, 30:45 minutes into the game.

I run after her, and we celebrate, we continue playing after halftime, then I see Cami and she passes it to me and I curve the ball in and I run to the Madrid corner and open my arms and shake my head- 65:39
GOAL- 78:67 - Real Madrid .

FULLTIME- FCB 2 vs 1 RM
We walk into our locker room, cheering and blasting music, I can't believe I just won my first professional game, I take my boots off and walk out of the room and see my favorite people of all time. I run up to Nando.

"You did it b!!" he says hugging me
"Good job b," Joao says
"You did really good Bruna, one goal and one assist," Pedri says
I just smile and I look at gavi and he looks away,
"What do you say gavi?" Diego says behind them
They all turn around and then we meet eyes and gavi says

"She did a great job," he says dulled
Great job? A great job is something you say to someone you have never kissed before, someone who you barely even know.

I walk away from them, without saying a word, I just go into the locker room and they are still cheering, and I'm doing it too, then I go to check my phone and see that gavi texted me.


Pablo 🦁: Hey i'm sorry if I made you uncomfortable when I kissed you

Me: Oh no, you didn't make me uncomfortable

Pablo 🦁:Are you sure?

Me: Yes I swear 😭

Pablo 🦁: Okay but good job seriously

"CAMIII!!" I yell
"WHAT HAPPENED!!!"  she yells back
I pass her the phone and see her face light up with different emotions, then she looks up at me.

"Oh my goddddd, about time you guys kissed," she says
"Shut up," I say snatching my phone back
She just laughs and so do I,

I pull Pedri aside. I grab his arm as he looks at me confused. "I kissed b" I confess.

"Well about time," Pedri says nonchalantly

"But I don't know what to do," I say

"Build the relationship back, don't make it end like
Last time" Pedri says

"B doesn't deserve that" Pedri adds

"Yea you are right," I say looking a the floor
"Are you gonna tell Joao?" Pedri says

"Obviously, but I just hope he doesn't tell Mateo, he's gonna kill me," I say

"What about Nando?" Pedri adds
"B is gonna tell him," I say
"uh yea," Pedri says distracted.

I look at him and then I look at what he is looking at, I think it's one of the players on brunas team. I think her name is Sofia. Not sure.
I tap him on the shoulder. "Hey, do you have a crush?" I say."Nah man I don't," he says
"Mhm sure"

I have to do the end-of-the-match interview
I walk up to the press room and I see all the reporters
I remember one, Trent Crimm from the independent
I walk up to the podium
"Uh let's get started," I say nervously. I wipe my hands on my thighs.

All hands shoot up, I don't know who to choose, I point to Trent
"Trent Crimm, the independent," he says
"Are the rumors true of you and Pablo Gavira are dating?" he adds
"I'm- they are false," I say

He sits back down and I point to another person
"How do you feel winning your first professional match?" a reporter says

"I feel great, I'm grateful to be playing for such an amazing club," I say
I point to another reporter, and she stands up and says
"any comment on what Sofia Delgado tweeted about you"

"I'm not aware, of what she said," I say
"she said, "Bruna Mendes is a joke, she's only playing for Barca because her father is Ronaldinho, daddy's money !!" the reporter said

"no comment," I say looking at the floor, and then my coach tells me to come off the podium

"go home, mendes, we will deal with this later" she whispers in my ear
