This wasn't the plan (M.R x Reader)

Part 10

"Hi Theo" I say while admiring his features, his brown curly hair that drapes onto his face, his brown hazel eyes that are symmetrically apart, his scar on the bridge of his nose.

"Take a picture it lasts longer" he says in a chuckle noticing me staring at him.

"Oh shush" I say back

"How long have I been asleep?" I ask

"Either 1 and a half hours or 2 and a half hours" he says

"So you don't know?" I say to him

"Well I was reading one of your books so it's hard to keep track of time" he says to me

"Ooo what book were you reading" I say with a bit of excitement in my voice

"The Great Gatsby" he says

"Good choice, I personally would of gone with pride and prejudice it's my favourite" I say to him

"It's a good book, but I've read it about 8 times and I've never read 'The Great Gatsby' so I thought I'd give it a try" he says

"Fair enough, anyway what you wanna do cause I'm bored" I say

"Well you can't walk so leaving the room isn't an option, and your supposed to be resting" Theo says looking at me

"Yeah but resting is boring, I want to be outside or exploring the castle" I say

"Do you remember what happened when you explored the castle alone last time" he says

"Yeah but I would be exploring it with you, plus my balance should be coming back any hour now." I say

"Your going to be the death of me" he says under his breath

I laugh and so does he

We sit in silence for a couple minutes until I came up with an Idea

"How about we play Liar Liar" I say

"What's that" he asks

"It's a muggle card game where you split the cards up between everyone that's playing, you get given time to sort out your cards, you then pick up how many cards you want whether that being 1 or 4 cards and you place them down in the middle not showing what the cards are to me, you then say 2 hearts and I have to decide on if your telling the truth or not, if I don't think your saying the truth I shout 'Liar Liar' if I'm correct we continue playing, if I'm wrong I have to pick up the whole entire deck of cards in the middle. It's the first to run out of cards wins" I say

"That seems easy enough" he says with a grin

"Yeah but you need to be good at lying and telling the truth without looking guilty" I say.

I turn to my bedside table and open the first draw to find the cards. Once I finally found them I take them out and close my draw.

I shuffle the cards and then distribute them between me and Theo making sure that I remove the jokers. We both have 25 cards.

I sort out my cards while Theo sorts out his. And then I start the game.

"I have 2 hearts" I say placing my cards down

We continue playing until I win.

"You cheated" he says in a huff

"How I didn't see any of the cards" I say

"Yeah but you probably put magic on them to help you win" He says

"Or your just a bad liar" I say back to him

"Oh I'm everything but a bad liar I'm not" he says

"So your a girl?" I say with a smirk

"Oh you know what I mean" he says backing down
