"LETS GOOO!" I yelled once I landed on the ground
My friends and I are at the gym playing Basketball. My team won the last game and we all sat on the benches to catch our breath.
"You niggas cheated" Khalil, my close friend said shaking his head
"Shut ya short ass up and learn how to jump higher bitch" Ricky said
"Ion need to because you don't even know how to handle the ball that keep slipping out them butter fingers" Khalil shot back
"Both y'all some shit" I said waving them off and laughing
"Nigga be quiet. You tall for no reason. Since you play so good why you ain't inna nba?" Ricky asked
"Because I ain't wanna be too famous. I let Ja take the spot and this nigga fucking up" I joked shaking my head
"Plus y'all know I'm a private nigga" I added
"Nigga we know... we barely see yo ass now and shit"
"Nigga done got a family and forgot about the guys" Ricky said fanning under his eyes
"It's not even like that man" I said laughing
"How ya ole lady and lil mama doing anyway?" Khalil asked
"They good. Kairi about to graduate from Clark and pumpkin just started walking." I said
"Man I love this family shit. Walking up to them never gets old" I said smiling
These last couple months been the best months of my life. Kai and I really finna get married, we got a healthy baby girl, and money just flowing.
"Did you tell her about Tati yet?" He asked giving me look
"Nah..." I mumbled
"You need to hurry up and do that before she find out. Y'all too grown to be sneaking behind her back and shit" Ricky said
"I know man... I'm just nervous. What if she don't even wanna marry me no more. This ain't even the first time this happened " I said sighing
"Welp" Ricky said putting his hand on my shoulder
"It was good knowing you gang. Can I have the bmw?" He added referring to my car
"Fuck off me" I mumbled moving my shoulder
I stood up and started getting my bag ready. We all prepared to leave them parted ways. I got in my car and went to get some food.
I drove home. Well Kai's crib since I basically moved in because I been sleeping there every night since Pumpkin been born.
