Oneshots of my MAIN jailey (REQUESTS OPEN)

💕Cleared Up Feelings💕

Two singers were in the music room on the opposite corners. The teal haired girl was in one corner tuning her guitar while the peach haired singer was on the other scrolling through his phone. The silence in the room was so loud and awkward it started to make Jake uncomfortable. The cause of this unsettling hush was both of the singers knowledge of their feelings. They had both liked each other for a while now and Jake had been the first to be upfront about it when he told Hailey he liked her just 2 days ago when he went over to her house to song write. 

It had caught Hailey off guard and she didn't know what to say or even begin how to say she liked him back. So instead of answering she just sat there wide eyed as Jake looked embarrassed and he stood up and said goodbye as he left her room, out the house. She felt horrible for not answering that day and stupid. 

How could I have done that to him? He looked so humiliated! And it didn't help that his eyes looked hopeless and disappointed. 

She looked up from her guitar at Jake, he looked like he desperately wanted to leave the room. Hailey wanted so badly to say something. To apologize for not giving an answer fast enough. For acting stupid. For not confessing back. He looked up from his phone at her and she quickly looked away, her cheeks red. 

Jake just sighed. He thought she was going to say something. Break the tension. Reject him nicely and say they could be friends. Guess not, he thought. 

All of a sudden he feels someone tap him on the shoulder. He looks slightly down to see Hailey standing there extremely close to him. She bit her lip nervously and looked down at his. Jake could feel his ears turn hot and his cheeks get red. She stood slightly back as she cleared her throat.

"I...just wanted to apologize for the other day" she said, avoiding any kind of eye contact with him. She feared that if she saw him she would chicken out and not say what she truly felt.

"Apologize for what?" Jake asked, his voice sounded cold. No, not cold ; hurt. His tone pierced through Hailey's heart. "You don't need to apologize for not liking me back, you know?"

 She couldn't say anything. She was trying to find the words but she just couldn't. But why say words when you can use your actions? Hailey swiftly put one hand on his neck and kissed him. Jake's eyes widened in shock and his cheeks turned crimson red. He didn't know how to respond but he quickly melted into the kiss. He snaked his hands around her waist as she put her fingers through his hair. They then both reached for air and looked at each other sheepishly.

"See, I do like you Jake" Hailey said looking right at him, she didn't feel nervous to look him straight in the eye anymore, " And i'm apologizing for leaving you without an answer and making you feel bad, I really didn't mean it."

Jake softly smiled at her, "Hey don't worry about it, there is no need to apologize anymore, you've made your point very obvious." 

They both let go of each other and just in time, for the other band members had entered the room already. 

"YES! Finally, I have been waiting all day for this! You guys ready?" asked a very enthusiastic Milly. 

Both singers looked at each other and grinned. They slowly interlocked hands with each other. 

"Are you ready Sterling?" 

"You betcha Austin."
