I believed in Avatar Aang.
I still do. Ever since my sister and I discovered him in the iceberg all those years ago, he has done so many incredible things, from saving the Water Tribes in the North, to saving our own lives as well. In the short time I had known him, he did what no one else thought was possible for my people, he turned an impossible situation to a fighting chance.
He gave us hope.
With Aang's passing after Ba Sing Se, my sister and I led what was left of the Water Tribes to a new home; hidden, and far away from the prying eyes of Fire Nation. We named this new capital - Yue City. From there, we did what we could to fight back, attacking the Fire Navy's ships for supplies and weapons, gathering our strength, and waiting for the perfect time to strike back.
That time is now.
The Avatar has returned to us; a Southern Water Tribe girl named Korra. If anyone can finish Aang's task, it is her, I know it. It will be a long road ahead, as she still has to master the four elements, but I believe she has what it takes to defeat Azula and free our people.
I believe she can save the world.
