Reuniting The Captive

Start from the beginning

"Lo'ak!" Your face was hot as you had almost gotten Tuk out of the next and let her drop into the ocean again. "Go!" The shadow lurking over you was having an unnoticed impact on you, your body was shaking and your eyes were crying. This whole scenario was terrifying you and although you knew that when you landed you would be as good as dead, you were still putting Tuk first. She needed to come first, but now it was too late. You were above the ship and if you let her go now she'd fall head first, so now you couldn't get her out. Now you need to protect her and hold her close. "Tuk!" You pulled her back in close to you and she held you tight. "Stay close to me." You landed on the ship somewhat gently? You pulled the net off as the true chaos started. "Drop the weapon." Lo'ak had landed on his feet and was barring his knife. "Put the weapon down." You had your as well in your other hand while your right arm was around Tuk. "Put it down."

You bare your fangs at the first person that came close, you shoved your knife out to the next recom after. "Drop your weapons!" Tuk had her knife out too now as Zdinarsk came from behind you. "Drop it now!" Tuk held her knife up as you swung. You missed them. "Put it down!" They grabbed your hand and twisted the blade out of your hand, you balled your other hand into a fist at the loss and swung again. "Drop the knife!" You landed a hit to his chin and tried wiggling your body out of his hold but he was gripping your wrist too hard.  "Drop it!" Recognizing the recom Brown as your capture he swung you off your feet and onto your back in one move. "Stop fighting!" You were winded, not able to catch your breath at all for a few moments which made it so that you couldn't move. You wanted to as you heard Tuk whining in pain. You patted the ground around you trying to find your knife again, it fell somewhere close. "Stop moving!" Your ears were pinned back and you were trying to move and see Tuk, you needed to make sure she was unharmed.

"Hey! Hey, what are you doing? Stop!" You squirmed again to look around to see the boy Spider you heard so much about from Kiri. "Stop! Don't hurt them!" You struggled to move again as he then flipped you around, pulling both your arms behind your back. "Stay still!" You at least got you to sit up before he yanked your arms back, stressing your shoulders out roughly. "Spider!" You looked over, seeing Tuk being held by Zdinarsk again. You tried helplessly to get out of Brown's grip, the last time Zdinarsk had Tuk you were able to escape, you had to now again. "Bro, are you okay?" Zdinarsk then yanked Tuk away up by her hair making her scream. "Hey!" You moved to try and leave his hold again, this time with more persistence. "Leave her alone." You free'd one hand and tried stretching out your arms to reach her. "Get back here!" You failed as you were slammed to the ground. "Stop moving!" You hit face first, and your chin got scraped.  Your face didn't sting as much when you saw Tuk being held down too, you were both facing each other and she looked like she was about to cry. "Stop squirming." You wouldn't stop trying to get to her. "Knock it off." And you wouldn't stop until you got back at Zdinarsk for how rough she was handling Tuk.

"Stay still." Tuk was still wriggling and screaming, trying to get free. You so badly wanted to just get her off this ship. "Shut up!" You also wanted to badly hurt Zdinarsk as she was getting on your last nerve. "Don't move." You were kicking, squirming, moving any body part that you could to get out and get Tuk to safety. You kept moving, trying to see if you could get free, anything would be fine, you just had to get her away. Tuk looked to her right and looked terrified. "Lo'ak." She whimpered his name and you looked over, there he was. The man you'd been dreading to see, he was right there standing over Lo'ak. "I remember you." He took his eyes off of Lo'ak scanning over the rest of you. His eyes stopped on you. "Cuff 'em to the rail. All of 'em." You were confused and now your stomach was in knots. "Let's go." Brown pulled you up with no resistance, you were shocked. You thought the next time you saw Quaritch he'd kill you.

"Let's go!" Zdinarsk was just throwing Tuk around, you still needed to get her out, but you were so confused you couldn't think of how. "Move!" Mansk had Tsireya and had her cuffed first by her arm. "Pick up your feet." You were brought next to her, your knees slamming down onto the metal as he cuffed one of your hands. "Watch 'em, they bite." Your muscles jerked at the closeness of Zdinarsk and the awkward way Brown cuffed you to the rail. "Give me your hand." Tuk was still fighting against her as the last of your body was cuffed. "No!" You looked over next to you at Tuk, she was so close now. "Now the other." You then looked up at Zdinarsk and kicked her, or tried before Brown grabbed your ankle. "No." Her and Lo'ak were cuffed on at the same time.

The Recoms stepped back and gave you a moment to breathe. "Be brave." Lo'ak was keeping himself together pretty well, he was doing better than you for sure. Though you didn't want to admit it, but you were scared, confused, and feeling empty. You were cursing yourself for not getting Tuk out fast enough or for protecting any of them. You were useless. A click sounded behind you and someone was behind you. You turned slightly when you heard noises from afar. Your ears were fluttering around but you stayed on the path of looking back. You saw a gun being pointed at your head, this wasn't anything new. You'd been shot at before, they had held their guns up at you on this ship earlier but now it was right there and if he shot, it would definitely kill you. "Quaritch!" You froze. You were looking down at the rails when you heard that voice. "Quaritch stop! Let her go!"

Your head started to shake, all you did was stare, too scared to turn around. "What do you want now?" The man scoffed, that man, that disgusting thing. You thought you just might throw up. "(Y/N)?" Tsireya was really close to you, everyone was now. You felt like there wasn't enough space left for air. "You know damn well what I want." No, he couldn't be here. He's only a vendor for Amrita, he should never be on Pandora. These beautiful sights should never be seen by him. "She is a fugitive (F/N)." Hearing his name made your heart drop, how was he here? "That is my daughter Colonel." Your fists tightened, your nose twitched, you started to slowly turn your head. "She's betrayed us." You heard the safety being taken off his gun. You were almost turned around with your head but your eyes wouldn't follow. "She made a mistake, she didn't mean it I guarantee you." You just needed to pick them up off the floor and you could see him again.

"Really? Do you want to tell him about the replacement or do I get to?" He kneeled down to your level and he pulled your eyes to look into his. In a panic you looked into the distance... There he was, just standing there. He looked just like when you'd left. He didn't have any new wrinkles, no eye bags, nothing new just as if you'd never left him. "Answer me Rookie." You didn't know what to do, how to do anything was a mystery to you. "I-." You were shaking and didn't know what to say or what to do. Your mind was completely blank and not taking in anything. "I guess that means I get to tell 'em." Nothing, there was nothing. "-" He spoke but you weren't hearing anything, nothing was processing. There were no sounds, it was empty, there was nothing to feel but cold shivers in your spine and the harsh heat of tensed muscles.  The feeling of your eyes bulging out just from catching sight of... You couldn't think, only things you could do was feel like you were about to throw up all your organs. You could just feel your body dying, this was the end, it had to be, your life was ending here on ths stupid ship looking at your stupid father.
