Once upon a time a beautiful child was born and from the second their parents saw them they knew they were destined for great things.
Who could have guessed! It all went to shit!
By the age of five, your mother expected you to take care of yourself, so she could go out and cheat on your dad when he was busy with his job.
The teachers in your kindergarten class thought how you acted was quite odd, you would always eat by yourself, munching down on a burnt and cold grilled cheese.
They would always ask you who made it for you and you would reply with a cheerful "my mommy made me make it" even though you had no idea that you shouldn't be using a hot stove when you're home alone.
Age 17, the best year of your entire life, the year you got to escape.
Your dad finally left your mom, but his financial situation didn't allow him to be able to get custody of you.
Your mom didn't want you either, so she called up her older brother and gave him some pity story about how you're an evil child, and she needs a break from you.
He thinks he can change you for the better based on all the made up stories told about you.
The second, and I mean SECOND she dropped you off at your Uncle Sam's house she left town, blocked all her friends and family, and she didn't even have the courage to just tell her own brother that she just didn't want a kid anymore.
Even if Uncle Sam thought you were a troublemaker, he was so nice to you, giving you the life and home you had wanted.
He made enough money, after all, being a police deputy.
That year, though, you were hanging out on the roof of your apartment building, when you felt a sharp pinching feeling in your hand.
Whipping your hand-over to your face, a spider was latched onto your hand.
You quickly pulled it off, being careful to not hurt it, even if it just did bite you.
But by then, the spider's venom had already been injected into your veins.
The bite had gotten swollen pretty quickly, and you quickly went to Uncle Sam for help. He helped you bandage it, but it was painful.
Now you're here, two years later, sitting on a light post, watching everyone as they pass by below you.
You're still living with your Uncle, but that's only because he doesn't want you to move out just yet, he enjoys having someone around.
Your secret identity keeps conflicting with your personal life, though, you're constantly coming home covered in bruises and it worries your Uncle Sam.
You want to tell him, you really do, but he thinks "that spider person is causing more trouble than they need to, swinging around and trashing city property when the police would have been able to work it out without damage"
If you told him you were a Spider-person, he might kick you out.
But anyway it's been a rough ride, so much has happened since you became a spider-person, and though you used to think you were the only one, that was most definitely not the case.
