UNLESS [Onceler X Reader]

But your eyes widened when you see what was coming next, and you felt your stomach drop

And soon enough, the riders on the bed noticed it too

A giant waterfall, which if fallen, would lead to their untimely deaths

Adrenaline and will to survive kicking in the Onceler, he grabs his pillow, trying to slow the bed down by rowing backwards with it, hyperventilating in a panic

You look around for everything and anything that might save these 2

You look up to see a bolder, an idea sparks in you

Even if it could do more harm than good, you didn't have too much time to think right now and it was worth a shot

You grabbed a long stick on the ground and ran up the hill to the bolder

Wasting no time, you wedge the stick under the bolder

You pushed, and pushed. You pushed with all your might! All your will! All your strength!

The bolder rolled slowly until it was finally let loose off the hill

The bolder rolled down, and rolled off a mountain ramp into the air, heading straight for the bed

You ran back down as you watched the bolder, praying that it wouldn't hit Onceler and the bear cub head-on

The bolder landed on the edge of the bed and it shot Onceler and the bear cub straight up into the air

You watched as the Onceler grabbed hold onto the bear cub for safety. Pulling the bear cub into it's arms to protect it

And then Onceler fell to the ground next the river, both him and the cub safe from the waterfall

You stood still

This mortal...

He protected the bear cub, knowing that if the plan didn't work, they could've died

You stared at Onceler in amazement, your eyes sparkling with curiosity
