chaper 6 (y/n pov)

"god i am so embarrassed" i said throwing my hands up

dabi was still adjusting his pants, and came over to kiss me

"we will finish this later, pretty lady" he said

i walked out of the room, pretending as if nothing ever happened, dabi following behind

we met hawks in the kitchen, he sat in a chair trying to make himself look comfortable but really he looked as awkward as ever

"sorry about that" dabi's raspy voice filled the awkwardly quiet room

hawks let out a chuckle and said "happens to the best of us"

i couldn't even believe how embarrassing this was so i kept quiet

"well y/n it was a pleasure to meet you, and nice seeing you again dabi. i think its time i head out, you know me and shiggy don't get along. wouldn't wanna be here if he happen to show up" hawks said, standing up to leave

"yeah bro i'll see you soon" dabi said, them doing their cringy handshake and hawks leaves.

"well wasn't that something-" i said, waiting until hawks was gone.

"wait "y/n" dabi said, cutting me off

i instantly realized. "fuck, the mission" i said letting out a sigh of defeat

"shigaraki is gonna kill us. well probably just me, not you because we all know he doesn't like me" i rambled

"don't worry about it love, i've got it handled" dabi reassured me

he put his hood back up, grabbed my hand, and we walked back out of the back door, continuing on with our mission like nothing ever happened

we walked around the town, trying to blend in but observing things closely

i mean we are still meant to be looking for anything including all might but there's not much to be seen.

we make our way to the school, UA, trying to look like normal pedestrians.

we see a few students on ground, even though it was after hours.

"izuku." dabi bluntly lets out

i've heard of this famous izuku, the one who apparently has inherited all mights powers. im not too sure if that's entirely true. i haven't got to run a full background check on the green haired boy yet

as we kept walking, my eyes were still locked on this green haired boy. another student had walked out, blond hair this time

the two seemed to be arguing over something, but i couldn't make out what they were saying

"izuku and bakugo. that's who they are" dabi starts explaining. he must've caught onto my curiosity

"we still don't know enough about them. so i brought you here to see if we could get a glimpse. you got lucky."

"UA students?" i questioned

"yeah, the best from what i've heard. they don't particularly get along, but them combined makes a powerful duo." dabi said

"pfft i could end them now." i said, cockily

"don't get too ahead of yourself now, the blond one is quite the hot head" dabi says

"looks like you two have something in common" i scoffed

"watch it" he said

"and izuku?" i let out

"he's something. he was born quirkless apparently. but somehow magically appeared with powers after a interaction with all might." dabi begins to explain

"i haven't seem him in action, or even seen what his quirk is, but i know it has something to do with all might."

"maybe he's a late bloomer" i jokingly said

dabi looked at me with an annoyed expression

"kidding kidding" i nervously said

"i heard he inherited all mights powers"

dabi paused for a few seconds. "yeah"

"at least that's what shigarki thinks. we don't know exactly."

we continued walking around, eventually the conversation leading to random things, and we were paying attention to what we needed to be doing

there was a loud crash a few streets over from us, and it instantly caught our attention

we got there as quickly as possible, still trying not to look suspicious

we spotted a few other villians, none we were familiar with, robbing the local bank

"score" dabi said with a smile on his face

"man i know we are "villians" too and all, but the bank? that's low." i said

"really baby?" dabi says

"you've still got a soft heart" he let out a soft laugh, grabbing onto my hand

after a while of finding no useful information, we just headed back to the bar and ended out part of the mission.
