saki had just gotten admitted out of the hospital again after being fatally ill for the nth time. she feels like she's ruining the relationship so you're going to prove her wrong by taking her out onto a shopping spree date, her favourite. you knew how much she loves going shopping and going on mall dates with you so it'd be a perfect treat for her and you because you get to see your favourite person happy, especially after being away from each other for awhile. you love it when she's happy, because it makes you happy too. she's a bright ball of fun, she gives life a meaning. you're so glad she picked you. she could've had ichika, honami, shiho, emu, haruka, anyone...but she picked you, because she saw something in you which even your parents couldn't see. it wasn't like your parents had cared anyway.

you waited outside of her house, holding a little gift for her. she always loved this one character, a sanrio character. hell, you even took her out to a pompompurin themed cafe! oh, did i just say it? my bad. anyway, a pompompurin plush! who would've guessed?! you held it in your sweaty palm, the key ring resting on your index finger. you rang her doorbell, the dinging noise ringing in your ears. you heard a rushed clatter of boxes falling a short "bye bye 'kasa!" before saki answered the door.

"[n/n]! you're here!" saki exclaimed, her hair slightly dishevelled from running down the stairs and tripping on some cushions which were scattered around the living room. she swung her arms around your frame, squeezing you tightly, she was so happy, it made you happy too. your lips slightly curled up from the joy she filled you with.

"yes saki, it's me" you replied, your tone warm and soft. it really contrasted from how you were around other people, saki just made you feel differently. "..i got you a gift too.." you handed her the gift, her hands were so pretty, you loved holding them because yours were always so cold.

"a gift?! [n/n] you didn't have to!" saki beamed. you shook your head and handed her the gift, her gaze soft when she saw what it was. "pompompurin!! [n/n] thank you so much!! i've wanted this one for so long!!" you knew she wanted this. she always talked about it and you wrote everything she wanted down in your notes app. 

"do you want to go on the date now? i was planning to go to the mall and then i'm taking you to the sanrio cafe afterwards. i've booked us a reservation by the window seat." you stated. you were always so blunt but saki was so patient with you. 

"yay! [n/n] you're the best, most perfect girlfriend ever!" saki exclaimed, jumping around and hugging you out of pure excitement. you giggled, hugging her back and holding her in your arms. 

you then took her hand and kissed the back of it. it may be seen as a 'manly' action but you loved giving saki princess treatment. she deserved it after all, she was an angel and she was perfect.

"whatcha thinkin' 'bout [n/n]?" saki asked, both of you walking hand in hand to the mall. you blushed, embarrassed. she always managed to catch you off guard and she'd always call it 'cute.' you hated being called cute but if it was saki it was an exception. god, you are the biggest simp for this golden retriever girl. you didn't care, she was just so...ugh! she was the best so it was fine.

she giggled at your reaction, you were the perfect couple. "you're so cute! c'mon, let's go on that shopping spree!"

revamps are finally done! this chapter is still the same with just slight tweaks thanks to the help of raincandy-uu!! 
oneshots can sometimes be difficult for me to write but i still enjoy doing them so keep requesting!
