Within 20 minutes, Darius arrived with cookies in hand. "You better be lucky I like your ass, that place is mad far for no reason," Darius said as he placed the cookies on the counter.
"Darius, is that you?" Kyawo's mom asked, coming out into the kitchen with a smile and pulling him in for a hug. She liked Darius and thought of him as a sweet boy, especially for her daughter. She considered him a second son.
"What have you been up to, Mama Faye?" he asked her.
"Not shit boy, working. Speaking of work, I'm about to head there in a few."
"They called you in?" Kyawo asked. Her mom was usually off on weekdays.
"I have to fill in for Kevin since he can't work tonight's shift," she replied, shaking her head. "Watchu bring?"
"I brought you and othay some cookies since Kyawo begged me to go get them so we could try them out together."
"That's Kai for you, always trying shit. I bet you she's gonna vlog it too," Mama Faye laughed as she grabbed a cookie and ate it.
"I'm going to take some of them to work. Othay's not here right now; he's at a friend's, but I think he'll come back later. I'm not sure,"
"And I'll be back around 10. I know y'all will still be up, so we can watch a movie or something," Mama Faye said to them, and they nodded, watching her as she grabbed some cookies and placed them in a napkin.

Opening the box of cookies there were five of them in the box. Kyawo got her camera out and started to hit the record button. "Hey guys so we are about to try some cookies from the place called crumbl cookie"
"which one do you wanna try first?" She asked Darius and he pointed over to the frosted strawberry tarts. She broke a piece off for the both of them and handed one piece to Darius.
"Nah this shit got it, I'm fucking with it" Darius said as he went and finished the rest of the cookie
"To me it's alright I'm not a pop tart fan" Kyawo said as she looked into the camera Darius began to laugh at her he thought it was funny that she was recording this, but he also thought it was cute.
"Whatchu rate it?"
"I give that shit a 9 outta 10 what about you?"
"Imma give it a 2"
The two continued to try the cookies as the were down to their last one. "All them other shits been nasty so far, so I'm hoping this one don't let me down"
Placing the sea salt toffee cookie in his mouth Darius instantly make a face as if he didn't like it and Kyawo began to laugh at him. "Darius please it can't be that bad"
"Nah who the fuck outs sea salt in a cookie" he places the cookie back in the box indicating that he was done and he watched as Kyawo sat there and continued eating the cookie, she didn't find nothing wrong with it but she wouldn't give it a 10 out of 10
"That shit about a -0"
"Zero is crazy? At least give it a 3"
"Hell no"
"We'll guys that was it as y'all can see Darius ain't really like most of them, his favorite one was the pop tart one" she said putting her thumbs down.
She ended the recording and placed her phone down. Getting up Darius went to go throw the box away as Kyawo got up to go lay on her bed. He came back in joining her.
"thank youu for buying & try them cookies out with me" she said, pulling him in for a hug.
"Buying shit for you ain't nothing to me, long as I get to spend my time witchu"
"You mean that?" She grinned at him and he nodded his head
" I don't say shit I don't mean"
"I'm tryna do everything witchu Kai"
Kyawo smiled at what Darius had just said. "I wanna do everything with you too, I always have a good time with you Darius"
