|it was a small struggle taking everything home with me, but I managed it. I put my fishing rod down in a chest and the flowerpot on my table. I took off my shoes and sat down in the chair examining the flower. I gently reached my hand out touching the soil then the petals and leafs.

"Soil seems dry..." I muttered to myself.

Then I got up to get my watering can and checked if there was any fertilizer.

"Cmon, there has to be some somewhere.." I said as I was looking for some.

But sadly, there wasn't. I groaned to myself and checked the time to see if Pierre's had closed, thankfully it was still open.. wait. 7:50!? I quickly ran to Pierre's praying that it would still be open by the time I was there. And thankfully.... it was! I was panting at the front door of the store trying to catch my breath. Then I heard the doors open. I looked up and saw Pierre with a key in his hand.

"Hey Farmer, what're you up to?" He questioned

I looked down then stood up and straightened my posture. I cleared my throat and looked at him.

"Uhhmmm.. I want to buy some fertilizer. I..."

I kept stopping during my sentences trying to catch a breath. How stupid it was running to get to the store, knowing I'm not in that great shape. Despite being a farmer running wasn't my specialty. Then I heard Pierre chuckle.

"I just closed shop, maybe come by tomorrow?"

As he said that I felt my heart plop in my stomach. I couldn't help but let out a deep sigh. Even running here didn't get me on time...

"But hey, since you are the farmer of the town. I'll let you do this only once mkay?"

I felt releif wash all over me. I couldn't help but let out a smile.

"Thank you Pierre. I'll pay you back I promise!" I said to him.

"Heh you don't have too. Now hurry and get what you need." He said as he opened back the doors

I nodded my head and quickly went inside getting the fertilizer. As I went up to the front desk I noticed a beautiful bouquet of flowers all together.

"Thoes flowers caught your eye?"

I looked up at him then smiled.

"Yeah, they're pretty.." I said while looking at them.

"Sure are.. they're for asking out your love interest, quite a special batch. That's why they're so pretty and colorful."

As I looked at them I chuckled to myself and hummed softly.

"You planning to give thoes to someone, Y/n..?"

I looked up at him and felt my face turn a little red.

"O-oh no! No.. just looking at how pretty they are... That's all."

Pierre gave me a slight look and a little grin.

"Mkay farmer, but if you ever need them they're gonna be right there."

I nodded my head and paid for the fertilizer.

"Okay Pierre. But I don't think I'll need them any time soon." I said following with a chuckle at the end.

He gave me a chuckle back and took my money and gave me the change.

"Alright now. Have a good night."

"And thank you for opening up for me, means a lot."

He walked over to the door as I followed.

"Not a problem. But this is the only time okay?"

I nodded my head as I held the fertilizer on my back.

"Of course. I promise."

"Alright then Farmer, see you tomorrow."

"See you tomorrow Pierre."

I walked home and couldn't help but think of the bouquet of flowers Pierre was talking about. Me? Give them to someone? Probably is gonna take a long time before I even think of giving them to someone... someone speical.. then I started thinking of Elliott. I groaned to myself and shook the thought away. C'mon Y/n, stop that..

As I made it home I opened the fertilizer and scooped some up in a cup and took out the rose from the pot making sure not to damage the roots. Then I threw out the dirt that was in the pot and replaced it with the fertilizer along with placing the rose back in its pot. I watered it and made sure to make it look nice. I smiled at my work. It looked nice. Then I sighed and changed into my pj's and plopped down in my bed. I smiled to myself and looked at the window seeing the moonlight seep through it being the only light source in my little house. I exhaled deeply and closed my eyes, knowing tomorrow was gonna be a new day.|
