They laughed, "Have fun. What about the rest of you?"
"Oh, Miroku and I are going with her. Monk and demon slayer, we may be, but I'd rather de-stress with other humans. Demons can sense that in you and can't always control themselves."
"Yasha," Ayame pulled Toga's arm, "we'll help the others clear the street up if you want to take Rena in to see your brother."
"Yeah." The Hanyou nodded at the Lunarian, "Do you need me to escort you all the way to him, or..."
"I can feel him the closer I get, so no worries. Just point me in the right direction and I can take it from there." She smirked, "You and Kags have some catching up to do. Without a group tagging along."
"Thanks Rena."
Kagome smiled, "Yeah, thanks."

She made her way down the hall and slowed down the closer she got to the training area. She started to have doubts about being there. All these different scenarios kept flashing through her head, getting her anxious about the confrontation.
She got to the door and sighed. She felt him. She breathed in his scent and all of her doubts flowed out of her head and a rush of calm flooded her entire being.
She pushed open the door and smiled as she saw him training with a sword. Not just any sword. Matsuki. The Demon Moon Blade. She gifted it to him as an engagement/Mating present. It was made from a blend of Uranium Steel and Lunarian Silver. It was forged into the hilt of Marshian Onyx. Once made, it was blessed in the Spiritual Waters of Neptune by the Head Priestess of Mars. Frozen in a Mercurian Pod for seven days; it was then shocked to life by using a Diosianite Lightning bolt from Jupiter.
He finally brought his sword down by his side and looked at the blade in contemplation. No one knew that it wasn't an Earthly weapon.
"You kept it."
He froze at the voice behind him. A voice that he hadn't heard in eons. He closed his eyes as the sound resonated through him. As he turned around, bracing himself, he prayed that he wasn't just hearing things. He looked at the door and felt the rest of the ice in his heart melt.
"Serenity."
"Hi, Sessho." He just stood there, making her nervous, "Um, maybe this was a bad idea. I can come back another time." She turned around and started to walk out when he sped forward and turned her around. She looked up into his golden eyes and froze as more memories and emotions flooding her. "I-I... um," Love. Overwhelming love and devotion just swarmed her. Followed by heartbreak. "I'm sorry. For everything. I didn't know..." she started shaking as tears ran down her cheeks. "I shouldn't be here."
He stared at her as he tried to figured out how to get her to calm down, "Sere."
"No..."
"Stop."
"It's not right..."
"Listen to me."
"No, no, no..." Her head started shaking and he noticed her mating mark on her left shoulder. Making the decision, he followed eons old instinct and nuzzled her neck, effectively shutting her up. After only a slight pause, she tilted her head to the side in remembrance, enjoying the feeling. "Better?" The whispered word settled her more, making her smile softly into his mark.
"A little."
He leaned back and wiped the tears from her cheeks, "Let's go sit down somewhere and talk. Okay?"
She nodded and looking at him, she twisted her mouth in thought and quirked a brow at him, "You might wanna put on a shirt. We don't need a repeat of the Silverhouse incident. Especially with your father wandering around here."
