Nevermind

A sudden creek could be heard in the distance. Not from my door, but from a different hall.

"You control your mindspace, Aurora. Too bad you can't control your thoughts." Josephine chucked as she walks towards the noise

"I know that..." I mumble to myself

I followed her down the hall which led her to a decoy of my door. Once she entered, she was at the very top of the tower in Polis

"I know I'm in control of my mindspace. Now, you can either give me back my body or stay stuck here until you wake up and we can repeat this over and over until one of us breaks." I threaten

Josephine rolls her eyes and jumps off the tower which caused me to widen my eyes

She couldn't have given up that easily...

"Warning. Collision alert." The intercoms screeched

I rush back to her door and she came out with a smug look on her face.

"What... how?" I furrow my brows

"Come on. You're smarter than that. How do you think we're resurrected? My mind drive backs up my consciousness. I can't die in the mindspace, but you can unless whatever fluke kept you here can bring you back. I took a sedative about an hour ago, so that gives me all night to kill you in here or find your memory of how I can kill you out there." Josephine explains

(Bro rlly said she can re spawn💀)

"Like I said before, I won't go down without a fight." I growl

"Rude... you know, I study all life, but insects always fascinated me the most. They're ruthless, merciless. I respect that. People are so messy, so emotional. Because of that, they give themselves away. I could always figure people out, even as a kid. I could tell when they were nervous. You know what my spidey senses are telling me about you right now?" Josephine asks

"That you'll never find my memories?" I scoff

"You think you're a badass but really you doubt yourself. You make sure the things you hold dear are safe and locked away where no one or nothing can harm them. I bet you have your memories not on you, but near you. Now let me have it." Josephine demanded

I kept trying to keep my mind on one thing, specifically a person: Eden. But her talking about my mindspace constantly caused the door to open slightly but immediately close.

"Finally." Josephine smirks as she rushes to my door

I follow close after her as she pushes the door open and enters. She takes in the room with a look of approval

"Guessing this is the tower I fell off of. Nice room you had." She compliments as she grazed her hand across the many weapons across the wall.

She noticed the missing dagger and turned towards me,

"Always one step ahead, huh?"

"You'll never find it." I sigh

"If finding your mindspace was this difficult, I can only imagine how hard it'll be. But I got all night."

At this point, I really didn't know what to do. Without the commanders here to help me, I was on my own. I thought all I had to do was kill her once, then I'd have my body back

But I was so wrong...

I run past Josephine and decide to try and trap her in the prison we had in Polis.

I end up managing to run into Mount Weather and see a body bag inside one of the quarantine rooms. I hesitantly open it to see Maya with burns all over her body
