"Hey baby mama" I said as I sat down at the table Blessing was waiting at
"Heyy" she said
"Girl you are glowing" I said as I looked at her face
"Aw thank you" she said as she rubbed her belly
"How's you and baby girl?" I asked as I looked over the menu
"We're great, we have my 5 month checkup appointment tmrw." She said
"4 more months" I said smiling excitedly
I was happy that Blessing would be bringing a bundle of joy into this world. Messiah needed a buddy and I would not be popping out a little demon seed in a while.
"How's my nanny butt?" Blessing asked
"Girl he bad asf" I said scoffing
"Ntm on himmm" she said while laughing
"Girl his ass be all over for a 1 year old." I said while shaking my head
"My baby just active he wanna see the world" she said laughing
"He better slow his roll" i said
"Hi I'm your waitress today, my name is Tasha." This pretty kinda lightskin/mixed girl came up and told us
I smiled up at her and began to tell her my order but it didn't seem like she was listening so I looked back up to see her burning her damn eyes into Blessing's head. I cleared my throat bc I thought it was weird asf.
"Oh..myb I got distracted" the waitress said
I gave Blessing a quick side eye then looked back at the girl resuming my order. Next Blessing said her order then the girl walked away.
"You know who that is or sum?" I asked
"Girl no but she was staring at me like she know me or sum." Blessing said while scrunching up her face
"Hm weird asf" I said

"Here you go" Tasha said as she put down our plates and drinks then walked away like she was in a rush or something
"Like you said weird asf.." Blessing said as she eyed Tasha as she sped walked away
We both had shrugged it off though and eyed our food. I had gotten the fettuccine Alfredo while Blessing had got the spaghetti and meatballs. We chatted and had a nice lunch till Blessing excused herself to the bathroom.
About 15 minutes after she came back and she looked pale.
"Oh god what's wrong??" I asked as I rushed to her side
"I just feel so weak.." she said softly
"I'll call Saint" I said as I grabbed my phone then screamed out "SOMEBODY HELP"
Phone call:
Saint: "Yoo?"
Sanaa: "Something is wrong with Blessing" I said softly
Saint: "fuck you mean something wrong with my wife?!"
I could hear her rushing in the background where ever she was. I was scared as hell.
Sanaa: "i-idk we're having lunch at Cheesecake Factory and everything was fine. We got our food then she excused herself to the bathroom then she came back looking pale asf." I rushed out
Saint: "Wtf did she eat?? I know she not allergic to anything but still."
Sanaa: "Meatballs and spaghetti." I said
Saint: "man wtf she eat ts all the damn time
"Ma'am we have to get her to the hospital right now! Her heart rate is dropping severely." A EMT said as they rushed to me while they put Blessing on a stretcher
"Saint we're going to a hospital. You have her location meet us there!" I said before hanging up the phone
I hopped in the ambulance with her. As we rode to the hospital I held her hand and she tried to squeeze me tightly.
"I'm here best..I'm here" I said softly trying to hold in my tears and be strong for the both of us
Whatever was wrong with her I hoped it wouldn't affect the baby..
