Mom!?

6 Years Later....

Clarisse's POV:

As I finally lost that hellhound pack, I stopped in a side corridor and made sure to put Chris in front of me just so I don't lose him

"The son of Poseidon is cruel, the Earth sustains him" - Chris

What is he going on about!? Ever since I found Chris he's been repeating that non-step. Percy isn't evil or cruel and there are no other demigod sons of Poseidon that I know of.

Damnit! I wish I knew what he was talking about. 

"We can rest, I think we're safe for now"

And of course Chris didn't respond. How long have I been here? I hate this place. To me it's been 2 weeks in this never-ending maze, but it probably could've been months up there for all I know. Time is so confusing here, I just want to leave. I don't want us to die here like the many demigods who did.

But even if we got out of here, what's not to say that we'll be ambushed or succumb exhaustion. Not to mention Chris. I found him wandering in the maze a while back, he was almost eaten by a chimera. But I don't think that's how he went crazy, beside how could I abandon him, I love him. We had started dating before left to join Kronos, why did he do that? I shake my head. I can't think about that now, I have to get us out of here.

"Claire?" - ???

"Who said that!?" 

"Come this way Claire" - ???

"Show yourself you asshole! Face me like a man!"

"Come now Claire, it hasn't been that long, has it?" - ???

That voice... It sounds so familiar? Wait a second... No way! I'm going crazy! It can't be!

"Claire? Turn around" - ???

I quickly turned around, and there she was as a ghostly figure.

"Mom!"
