The issue? I'm not sure if it's true cuz I only saw one tweet, part of the whole poll the prize for the character who won the polls will not just get a statue, but will also get more art, I heard that the creator not only made more art of Deku (who did not win either poll) but will ALSO get a bronze statue. If this is true then...what the fuck was the point of the polls? Is this his way of saying "BakuDeku canon" ? I can't confirm this because I tried looking for more information but couldn't, it was just that tweet.

An anime adaptation of the spin off manga Vigilantes is coming in April 2025, I never read Vigilantes, I know it was made by an assistant of Horikoshi, and despite being disappointed with both the ending and 431...I'll give it a go because the art style looks cool, like, comic book style...if it makes sense.

Now, last chapter I wanted to talk more about 431, Horikoshi made a statement regarding 431 as "turning the cameras off and freeing the characters of their dramas" which is good! I guess...? I say this because it was written in the very last segment of his announcement, the first sentences literally state that "the real final chapter is 429, 430 is more like a curtain call". People argued that that was evidence enough that 431 was not canon, others argued that it was an epilogue, which would be fine...if the epilogue wasn't basically the final five chapters, I mean, he did say that he'd have a long epilogue, and then said it'll be five chapters long. And then- then, recently a video from an official manga recap account recapped the whole final arc (I don't speak Japanese, it was one hour long), and 431 wasn't included. Many said that it was proof enough that 431 isn't canon but others pointed out that the video was an hour long so it must've taken months to make. But I would like to point out that chapter 431 isn't even included on the Shonen Jump app, you'd think that an extra chapter it would by now have an official translation and be included on the app that releases the chapters. I don't know, maybe it'll show on 2025? I don't flipping know.. I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't get animated and people still fight over the validity of this chapter which I saw in another translated post (that unfortunately I couldn't read it completely because Twitter decided to refresh itself) that the chapter itself was a last minute decision made by the team itself.

Okay, now for the fun stuff! Last night I went to see Nosferatu with my dad, since I reached pre-teens I've gained a love for horror and gothic, macabre stuff. So when I saw the trailer for the newest Nosferatu movie? Dad and I were excited, I wanted to dress all goth but yesterday he had an appointment that was an hour long drive away from home, not to mention in Puerto Rico, there's no such thing as being on time. We got to watch it and I LOVED IT! IT WAS SO COOL! THE FASHION, THE ACTING, WILLEM DAFOE WAS THERE, AND OH MY GOD THE WAY THE VAMPIRE SPOKE AND USED HIS WORDS- I would love to watch it again. When the film ended we were shocked by what we saw and I looked at my dad with a big grin on my face and I said "I liked it~"

I saw Sinsmas~ and I loved it, I don't like how people are saying Octavia is being a spoilt brat, girl's life turned out to be a lie, her dad has constantly done more to take his anger out on his ex wife and tried to forcefully include Blitzø in the beginning of the series after the divorce hasn't even been fully processed for her. Her crash out was valid, but it also hurt me a lot that Stolas was sad, Millie is pregnant, to be fair her reaction is natural, having a baby is scary and not to mention I don't think they're making enough money to include a baby so she's definitely scared. I also loved the "Merry Sinsmas" song, it reminded me a lot of Frank Sinatra.

I've had ideas for what kind of fanfic I'd make after this one ends, haven't decided between some of the MHA fanfics or even making a fanfic that has nothing to do with MHA.
I was also wanting to do a Deku goes to America fanfic...but...if I were to write that, I kinda want to write him going to Puerto Rico...mainly cuz I'm Puerto Rican myself

Speaking of Puerto Rico.. At about 5:30 in the morning, there was a power outage. It's now 10 here and the power ain't back! The tv's weren't working so I had to go on TikTok to find out that the estimate amount of time they think they'll need to get the power back on is between 24 to 48 hours, and it might even extend to 72 hours! This is tiring! There's literally people who can't afford a generator, or can't have one if they live in an apartment complex, there is also people who need power to keep themselves alive, and generators can malfunction and depend solely on gas/ diesel to keep going. I don't know why, this situation reminded me of the aftermath of Hurricane Maria. My area didn't get power until the day before Thanksgiving, and before we got power, my family and I had to ration the diesel, we couldn't use the generator in the daytime so we had to try and do everything at night and in the morning so we'd have food, clean clothes, etc. we couldn't just drive around either because there was super long lines to the gas station and there just wasn't enough.
I just feel worried about the future for future generations of Puerto Ricans, at this point there's no future for anyone in the island, and it frustrates me a lot because Puerto Rico is a beautiful island, and it's the island I was born in and I'm proud of being Puerto Rican.

On brighter news, my sister and her boyfriend got me a Dabi plush for Christmas, and I've never felt so happy to have a plush. My boyfriend tied it up to my backpack and now I take him everywhere! I already have a Shoto Todoroki plush, so here's a picture!
