Won't say I'm in love part 2

Start from the beginning

He stayed there, just staring at the red color, it almost reminded him of-

"What the fuck am I doing staring at a red pen?" He scowled at himself, grabbing a set of black pens and headed to checkout.

"Have a good evening!"

"Yeah yeah whatever" the singer muttered, shoving the newly bought pack of pens into his hoodie pocket as he exited the store.

As he walked along the busy streets, with both hands in his pockets, his mind was replaying the events earlier. Shoto knew now, he knew, what was he supposed to do now? It's not like he could lie, Himiko basically told him about his "boyfriend". But unlike Himiko, Shoto knows who it is, meaning he has information on his hero friend, meaning he could tell her, and if he tells her she'll tell EVERYBODY.

Dabi felt like he wanted to die now, not come back to the apartment, leave Japan, live a new life in another country with a whole new identity, but that wouldn't be fair to his family.

"What do I even say to him...?" He wondered, he couldn't explain it even if he wanted to. The hero had become a part of his routine, one that he felt comfortable. Breakfast, meetings at the Rebel Dome, lunch with Hawks, more work, rinse and repeat. It was like a rhythm he couldn't break.

The worst part? He didn't want to break it.

(Timeskip)

"Got dinner" the singer said flatly as he entered the apartment. Shoto sat at the couch, looking up with a serious stare. In the corner of his eyes, Dabi could see the crumpled papers in the hands of his younger brother. His body tensed for a moment, feeling cold all of a sudden.

"Hope you don't mind street food" he tried to sound normal, nonchalant, like he didn't just see Shoto holding his crappy lyrics in his hands.
"Touya-Nii-"

"Couldn't decide which, so I picked one of everything"

"Touya-Nii-"

"Come on, eat some of the Yakitori, can't finish it all by myself-"

"Touya-Nii!" Shoto raised his voice, slamming his hand onto the table with the papers in hand, his voice was steady, serious, but his face showed concern for the singer.
"This is serious"

The singer looked at his brother with wide eyes, feeling trapped, he didn't have an excuse to get out.
"Shoto..."

"You're going out with a hero" Shoto started "have you forgotten what Kurogiri told you?" He pressed on "What Aizawa told you? Your own promise?"

"..."

"Touya-Nii...!"

"Did you tell Himiko?"

"What..?"

"Did you text Himiko of your findings?" The singer asked again, more clearly in his voice.

"No"

"Show me"

Shoto sighed and took his phone out, Dabi took a quick search, seeing nothing but Himiko's constant spamming from wanting to know if he knew about the singer's "boyfriend" to begging to go with her to see the latest Nosferatu. The singer sighed, relief partly washing over him, he looked back at Shoto who still had the papers in his hand.
