She shifted in her spot a little. "Breeeee." I shook her a little harder.

"Stoppppppp." She spoke. Aw hell nah.  She ain't sound like my damn cousin. I snatched the blanket off of her and started to back away.

"What the fuck is you doing here?!" She jumped up, and looked at me. She scrunched up her face and got up off the couch and started to walk towards the back.

I caught her arm before she could get to far. "Get the FUCK away from me. I don't want anything to do with you." She spoke trying to snatch away.

Even at this moment she looked sexy as fuck being mad at me. But I can't let that get in the way. I'm too confused.

"Why are you here? How do you know Bre?" I said still holding her arm.

She scrunched her face up, "How do you know her?" She stopped fighting me.

"I asked first." I let go and she rubbed the spot that was once being held.

She used her fingers to move the loose curls from her face and looked up at me. "Did anyone follow you here?" I shook my head 'no'.

She leaned against the wall and held her head back. I could tell she was stressed. She then told me the whole story of what happened after she ran away from my place.

By then we were sitting on the couch. I was tired than a bitch. Ion even like listening to bitches stories but there was something about her that made me want to listen to every word that slid off her tongue.

I was half sleep when she got done telling me. "You hear me?" I opened my eyes.

She was sitting on the couch with her legs crossed. "Yeah I hear you. That's fucked up." I shook my head. "Real fucked up." She nodded in agreement.

"But Bre never talked about you to me, and we've been friends for years." She said. I shrugged, I don't care. She just another one of Bre's friends.

Just when I was about to say something, someone came busting thought the door laughing. It was Bre and one of her niggas.

I could tell she was drunk by the way she was walking. She stumbled through the door while the nigga was holding her up.

"I'm good, I'm good." She laughed. I shook my head. They entered the living room where we were sitting and acted as if we weren't even there.

Bre tripped over her heels and landed on the couch. "Bre what the fuck is you on?" Logan said.

Bre jumped up. "Bitccccccch." She slurred "What the fuck is you still doing here?"

Logan rolled her eyes. "Talking, bitch is you drunk."

Bre ignored her question and squinted her eyes over at me. She looked like she was trying to figure out of I was really there or not.

"Jay? You here too?" I didn't say any thing, I just looked at her and laughed. "Y'all fucking or something?"

I shook my head and chuckled. She must be out of her damn mind. "Man, watch out with all that shit."

She laughed, "Yeah alright, c'mon Jalen." She stood up off the couch and they walked off to the back. I heard the door shut in the distance.

It was quite as hell until, we both started hearing moans and shit. I wasn't with that, it made me feel uncomfortable.

I stood up off the couch and grabbed my keys. "I'm finna go grab something to eat. You wanna ride with me?" She gave me a hesitant look. "C'mon, I know you don't wanna sit here and listen to this shit." I laughed. She joined my laughter and stood up.

"You right, she hell foreal for this shit." She shook her head.

We both walked to the door. I put my shoes on and she slipped on her Uggs and we walked out. It felt kind of funny just acting like everything was coo cause it wasn't.

We got in the car and I didn't start it. I just sat there. I could feel her staring at the side of my face.

"We going?" She chuckled.

I looked at her funny. "Its real funny how you snitched on me tho. Witcho police ass." I started the car.

She squinted her eyes. "What are you talking about."

"You just gave my brother my name. He could have been any fucking body. But you know you don't care, you just walk around giving names and shit. " I shook my head.

"Hold up, you right I don't care. I don't give a fuck. I don't know you like that. And hell yeah if a mothafucka' got chu tied up and shit, threatening you-"

I cut her off  "I wouldn't give out the name of the nigga who saved my ass." She got quiet.

"Its so fucked up tho." I laughed.

"I'm sorry." She put her head down.

I looked over at her. "Lil mama you ain't gotta be sorry for shit. You good." She looked out the window.

I pulled up to Steak N' Shake since that was really the only good thing that was open at this time of night. We ordered our food and started the route to my house.

I guess she recognized that we weren't going back to Bre's crib because she shifted in her seat.

I started to notice that I watch her every move.
