"SO, I NEED details like now," charlotte says as she lays down on lizzie's bed.
"details on what, may i ask?" lizzie laughs.
"you and chris," charlotte says. "now!"
"what are you talking about?" lizzie denies. "chris is my friend, and?"
"and," charlotte starts, "you obviously liked him before, so i'm praying you've made a move by now."
"i never said i liked him, you just assumed," lizzie reminds her. "we're just friends, like i am with all three of them."
"right, whatever you say," charlotte laughs. "anyway, i can't wait to get matt's attention this weekend."
"still on that, i see," lizzie says.
"of course i am!" charlotte smacks her friend's shoulder. "i mean, i don't wanna get married or anything but he's adorable and a little kiss wouldn't hurt anyone."
"like i said last time, go for it," lizzie says. "you've got nothing to lose."
"that's exactly what i plan to do."
in the back seat of the van, charlotte gasps at her phone. they're all headed to play laser tag, including matt, chris, nick, lizzie, madi, and charlotte.
"what?" lizzie asks her.
"oh my god look how cute," charlotte says. "it's an edit of matt and lizzie!"
charlotte shows the tiktok to the group, showing a fan edit of matt and lizzie to the song 'miss americana & the heartbreak prince' with emoji crowns on their heads.
"awe, matt," lizzie says, "we're miss americana and the heartbreak prince."
"whatever that means, my queen," matt jokes.
"it's a taylor swift song idiot," nick says.
"that's actually adorable," lizzie says, watching it again.
chris stays quiet in the front seat, a small frown on his face.
