"E, we can talk about it if you want," Tristan said.

"No, it never happened," Eloise said. A little boy emerged through the doors and Eloise looked to see her little brother, Javon. Javon wasn't her full brother, just half, coming from her dad's mistress. He looked around all giddy with happiness and holding a paper.

Eloise wiped her eyes and ran to him, Tristan looking at her, his hands in his pockets, "Hey Javon, haven't seen you in a bit, buddy."

Eloise went to hug the 9 year old, and squatted down to be at somewhat of his eye level. "Where's dad, Ellie?," Javon asked, searching the room. "Dad's sleeping, what do you have in your hand?" Eloise said, her breath still uneven from her crying.

"It's a field trip form. I need someone to sign it, it's due tomorrow and my mom said I'd have to ask my dad, so let's wake him up," Javon said starting to walk towards the living room. Tristan stopped in front of him and took out a pen from his pocket and extended his hand, signalling for the paper, saying, "Don't wake up your dad sport, I'll sign it for you." Eloise walked to him and said, "Tristan, you don't have to."

He finished signing it and handed it to Javon. "Thank you, you're the bestest guys," he giggled himself to the stairs and to his bedroom and all that was heard was his loud cheers. Tristan looked at Eloise and Eloise looked at him and they both started laughing.

"There's the pretty smile I like," Tristan said turning to Eloise. Eloise rolled her eyes and started walking to the stairs. "Eloise...," Tristan's voice trailed behind her.

"If i ever want to talk about it, I'll let you know but until then I think we should just stay in my room," Eloise said.

"Fine, fine, I'm fine with that. What are we even gonna do?," Tristan questioned, excitingly. Eloise looked into Javon's room to see him playing by himself.

Eloise looked at Javon for a good while. Javon was like her own child, she couldn't bear to see such a pure soul ever suffer, ever feel any pain, ever feel so low. Sometimes she wished she could enclose him into a small music box where he would forever hear such beautiful sweet music and be shielded from such a horrible and repudiate world.

"You can choose, I'm fine with whatever you want to do," Eloise said, shifting her eyes from her brother to Tristan who was standing oddly close to her.

"Eloise, you look perfect, do you know that?," Tristan said.

Eloise stared at his lips and back up to his eyes, and saw Tristan get closer to her face.

They were now inches from each other, Tristan put his hand to her face and ran his thumb over the very side of her face. Eloise rested her hand on his chest, and rubbed it up to his shoulder and down his arm.

"Get a room," Javon said pushing between the two, pushing them away from each other. Eloise awkwardly looked over to Tristan and Tristan just looked over at her with a smirk.

Javon opened the bathroom door, looking back at both of them and shaking his head before saying, "Right in front of my door too?" He closed the door and a faint, "I swear some people would do it anywhere" could be heard. Tristan started bursting into laughter, knocking into an already laughing Eloise. Seeing Eloise laugh, he stopped to admire it. Eloise truly did look gorgeous in the lighting.

"Eloise, aren't you a moderator for the dance?," Tristan asked looking at her with a more serious attitude, Eloise looked up at him slowly and said, "No, that's Paris. I wasn't supposed to help this year. Aren't you going with Ellen?"

Tristan rolled his eyes playfully at that question and said, "I told you I don't like Ellen, it was a one time thing and it's not like I'll be talking to her anytime soon. She barely shows up to any of our classes."

"Ah, I'm sorry for bringing up the forbidden name," Eloise said playfully while walking back to her room. She plopped onto her bed and Tristan went to lay next to her, a bit more gently than how Eloise did. "Who are you going with," Tristan questioned looking down at her a bit.

Eloise looked at him and said, "Well, probably with Imogen. Berlin has a boyfriend and all so Imogen and I will probably go together. But Berlin is making all of our dresses so we don't have to go and buy them, which I think is even better." Tristan just smiled as he listened to her talk, occasionally nodding his head but mostly focusing on the smile she had everytime she talked about Imogen and Berlin, and the way her voice rasped slightly as she got excited.

"You'd look good with anything," Tristan said with a smile on his face.

Eloise looked at him and scooted closer to his body, laying her head on his chest, Tristan moved his arm to wrap it around her and rested his hand on her shoulder.

The door closed and you heard Javon saying, "I swear to God, these two."

This made them both start to laugh and Eloise fully took in Tristan's laugh, he sounded like an angel as he laughed. It was more like chuckling but his was hearty with such depth each time that it sounded genuine. He was gorgeous always.
