Ragnar pulled away from the edge looking at the moon, yidu looked at him before laying next to him
"what are you thinking about?"
Yidu asked curiously
"Paris"
He whispered still looking at the moon
"You must be excited to be going back"
"No"
He said mid sentences, he stayed silent before speaking again
"I feel so old... When i was young i had passion to win but now that age, and all the comes with it i have lost desire and the strength"
Ragnar pulled himself closer to yidu making her shoulders tense up
"A few years ago i established a settlement in a distant country where i took many of my people and friends to make a new life for themselves, but surely after my departure they were all slaughtered their homes destroyed and burn"
Ragnar whispered to the slave next to him, who's expression began to tense up
"I life with such guilt because of it"
Ragnar inhaled looking away from yidu looking back at the moon
"And nobody knows"
It was morning, children were outside playing, adeline was holding solaine as her and ivar were getting taught by floki, floki showed them a stone ivar smiled looking at it, ivar then looked out to the other children frowning, adeline noticed his sadness and held his hand
"Ivar adeline do you want to play?"
Aslaug asked looking at the twins, ivar turned to floki who picked him up grabbing the cart and walking to the children, adeline giggled and followed them while holding solaine close to her when ivar was placed on the cart he took his hand out waiting for his turn, adeline watched as solaine fussed in her arms
"Here give it here!"
Helga and aslaug watched, frigg catch it and threw it to ivar smiling, ivar smiled back before a child grabbed it, ivars and frigg smile fell as they watched the kid ran, floki grabbed it from the kid angrily throwing it to ivar, ivar smiled again before the kid tried grabbing it, in rage ivar grabbed the axe from the cart killing the boy, the children around them screamed, frigg grabbed adeline dragging her away from the crowd, helga and aslaug ran over to ivar, floki grabbed friggs arm holding the children close to him as they all watched in shock, aslaug whispered to ivar picking him up before jestering towards adeline to follow adeline followed quickly, helga looked at the now dead child on the ground turning to floki and frigg, both of them were in shock on what had just happened
The hall was filled with men as usual, frigg was standing near adeline and ivar she was holding them both close as they all watched, ragnar walked through the crowds and to the throne he grabbed his goblet drinking his ale before turning to the crowd
"Firstly i want to announce that we leave for paris in three weeks to the day"
The crowd cheer to his announcement
"But today is today and we are here to perform an important ceremony in which my two boys ubbe and hvitserk"
Ragnar walked over to the boys dragging them to the front
"Will receive their sacred arm rings, kneel"
Both of the children kneeled in front of the throne, frigg looked at hvitserk with concern as she held the twins close to her
"Take this offering of earth and salt to remind you that you both belong to the earth and to the sea"
Aslaug had a concern looked for her two eldest son, ragnar sat and sighed, ivar looked at them curiously
"These arm rings symbolize your coming of age they also bind you in royalty and fealty to me your king and your father... Any oath you swear upon these rings must be kept or else you will sacrifice your honor and your place in valhalla do you understand"
"Yes father"
"Yes father"
Ragnar looked at both of his sons intensely
"You both swear so?"
"Yes father"
They both repeated at the same time

Ragnar then give them the rings
"Put on your rings my brother!"
All of them cheered as the two put there rings on, aslaug smiled and stood up
"Come here"
Aslaug both kissed his sons before ragnar turned to aslaug
"I'm taking the boys with me to paris"
Aslaug sat down looking at him
"They are too young"
"It is my decision whether if they come or not and they are not too young to watch, in any case they're much safer with me then they were with the last time with you as i remember"
Aslaug looked at him shock and look like she was about to cry
The men were gone and the woman and some men were left in kattegat, aslaug, adeline and ivar turned to sigurd who was staring at them, frigg was behind him holding him by the shoulders
"Sigurd what is it?"
Aslaug question looking at her son
"Nothing"
"Your brothers are gone and you have no one to play with, so play with your brothers daughter siggy"
Sigurd turned to the small blonde girl
"Do you want to go outside?"
Siggy nodded and frigg smiled, she leaned to whisper to siggy
"Come let's go"
Siggy grabbed frigg's hand walking out with sigurd, sigurd turned to siggy
"Your so dirty! Don't you ever wash?"
Sigurd walked back in, frigg sighed picking up siggy following him, sigurd then walked in on aslaug breastfeeding ivar, meanwhile adeline walked to sigurd holding a fussing solaine in her arms, sigurd look at solaine with sadness before turning to ivar and aslaug again, sigurd grabbed adeline arms waking away from the room
