Beginning

"I should have known this is just a game to you" Annabelle says as she storms her way to the cold raining outside

"Anna please wait.." Peter says as he rushes to her and holds her hands

Annabelle turns to face him revealing a wet angry and frustrated but madly hot face "that what? You should lie again..you told me you cared I knew it was too good but I..I thought you changed"

"I did and I meant what I said I want to be with you and no one else" Peter says desperate to stop Annabelle tears

"Yeah you did as a business partner and now you got the contract so we're done!!" Annabelle says as she drags her arms from Peter and leaves without looking back

~six months before~

In a skyscraper James walks into Peter's office without knocking as always

"Wassup Petes?"My best friend and co worker James says as he approaches my desk

"Nothing much just got to finish this paperwork as soon as possible" Peter says with full focus on the paperwork on his desk

At peter's desk "come on you can do without paperwork for a day you know"

Looks up " why did you really come?" Peter says with an you are disturbing look

"The boss said he wants to see you..something about a new contract"

"Huh..but we just finished one last week"

"Yeah that's the same thing i thought but I guess he wants to use his best contract winner on the case" James says with a big smile

"Am not the best and by the way if not for you and Becky we won't have won it"

"Huh..am pretty sure it was all you but anyways you know the boss and how he hates lateness so we need to go like right now" James says as he points the door and makes his way to it

"Wait up" Peter says and catches up

~At the lobby-

"Any plans later in the day" James says breaking the silence

"Well my family has a dinner meeting with my sis fiancé"

"Damn she must be really serious with that guy" James says with hatred

"I don't know what she sees in that guy I mean last two weeks Becky saw him kissing another woman in the local shop" Peter says with pure disgust

"Wait what!! Did you tell her??"

"I tried to but she said am just making up things since I hate him"

"Honestly there's nothing good in that guy apart from the fact is a multimillionaire" James says as they both stand in front of their boss office

"How I wish i could just get rid of that guy" peter says as he knocks and opens the door at the CEO's command

"Good afternoon sir"they both greet the CEO

"No need for the formalities..and I'll be straight to business but first take your seat" He says with a calm yet authoritative voice

They both seat at the opposite side facing the boss

The CEO(Jonathan) takes a sip of his coffee and clears his throat "I'll be direct..the federal government has given this company a chance and a privilege to a contract of 400 million dollar but the problem is the contract has not been signed or finalised and that's why I need you Peter in six months time the governor will hold a convention and you are going there to finalise the deal" he looks at Peter expecting an answer

"Sir it is not only me but my crew James and Becky..I accept and can do it but what are the requirements"

"Well we have already met all the requirements but the fact they want a family man or at least one engaged to handle the contract" the CEO says with full attention at Peter

5 minutes later (at the lobby)

"To believe the requirements will be so little on our side" James says with a sigh of relief

"Yeah but our families are pretty known don't you think they'll know if we use an actress or someone else" Peter says with a concern look

Robs his chin in thoughts "dips on Becky"

"Wait what..damn it I didn't think of that you sleeky bastard"

"Who can blame me?..good luck looking for a woman in five months"
