An Unhappy day (Chapter 3) part 1

The man sighed heavily clearly not wanting to say more

" This morning a fire started in the Phantomhives manor...everything was burned to the ground and there was no one who survived it," he said

As the mother sobbed even louder on the ground, the man stood up looking down in sorrow at the kids

The boy stood in shock upon hearing the news while the girl stood still but with an unreadable expression

"Everyone is...gone, sir?" She ask seemingly unsure of what the man said was saying to be true

He looked back at the girl taken aback by her question "Well we are still checking around parts of the house for anything to bury the Phantomhives so far we only found the parent's body...well what's left of it" he said

Her eyes began glancing left and right unsure of herself to believe what he said, "What about the twins...were they found?" She said stepping forward her eye Coldy staring into the men who look back at her almost flabbergasted by her words coming from someone so young

" no we haven't found them but we are still..!?" He was cut off by the sound of heel stomping down on the hard polished floor

" then do your job and find them!" She shrieks at the men who flinch at her and yells

Her small hands clench ignoring the pain her nails digging into her palms, and her eyes glare at him almost like daggers stabbing into him for such a girl who looks so pure and sweet can change her smile to a snarl if temper with

"We are doing our best...!" He was cut off once more

"Clearly you're not when you are standing there like a nimrod!" She said as her voice raise even louder

The man stepped back from her even the maids and butlers were taken aback by the young lady's outburst

"Y/N!" A shriek so loud it can make dogs howl in pain it even made echoes in the mansion there the no longer a weeping woman instead a woman so demented looking as if she was out for blood

"Enough now sweetie.." She said slowly walking over to her as she looked down at her daughter

Tear streaks had gone dry on her cheeks but her eyes were still red from all the bawling on the floor

" We can't expect these men to protect what is dear to us," She said almost hissing venom in her voice as she looked back at the officer who looks so craven in front of her

" this useless man can leave if he can't do anything right but stand like an imbecile and not do his job!" She Raises her voice at the man who stumbles back on his feet quickly back  getting up and holding himself up straight up by holding onto the door hinges

" so I will tell you this once you impeccable men! Till you can bring better news of who will do this to my precious friend or stay out of my way!" She yelled out her final words as the officer rushed out of the manor shaking like a dog in fear

She looked back at her kids who stared back at her the son holding his sister's dress his face written in concern for his mother as for the daughter she looked up to her mother almost like she was admiring her
