Chapter five: failed family dinner

Y/n, Barbara, Jim, and Walter walked to Mr. Benoitt's for dinner, and of course Douxie took their order, Y/n sat away from the others at a two person table, Douxie went on his break to sit down there, "Oh, do you need something?" Y/n said, "Nope, you just seemed lonely." He said. Jim saw him sitting with his sister, and he was making her laugh, Jim was ready to choke a shit out of him, in the past week Douxie has flirted with his girlfriend, and now is trying to get with his sister. Toby walked by and saw Jim about to beat his ass when Toby ran up to him "Dude, don't make me kick you in the balls." Toby said as he continued to jog around town in yet another attempt to lose weight. Y/n got an urgent call from Maya

Maya: El, come quick, it's Winter!

                                                                                                         Y/n: What happened?!

Maya: Something strange attacked her earlier tonight!

                                                                                                                    Y/n: I'll be on my way!

"Sorry Douxie, I gotta go!" She got up but before she could start running Douxie spoke up "Want me to drive you?" he asked "Yes, please!" the two got in his car and put the radio on. "So, uhm, why does your brother want my ass on a stick?" Douxie questioned. "Because he's a stupid 16 year old boy with a girlfriend you were nice to and a sister you're friends with and I've had a shitty experience with men." Y/n stated "Oh, well then he's a dumb boy. Simple as that." he stated "This house right?" he said pulling up to a one-story house with a plastic lawn "Yep, thanks for the ride." Y/n said "Anytime gorgeous." he replied back. Y/n ran inside the house to check on Winter, luckily she was ok, but what attacked her was Y/n's question, and why? She picked up the phone and called Douxie to ask him something.

Douxie: Hello?

                                                                                                                        Y/n: Are you like a wizard or some shit?

Douxie: How the hell did you know- 

                                                                                                                  Y/n: You give off a vibe

Douxie: Uhm so uhhhh I'm guessing you need a ride home?

                                                                                                                             Y/n: Yessir.

Douxie introduce Y/n to Archie, and to what he'd been doing behind the scenes to keep Arcadia safe, he offered for her to help and she agreed, everything seemed fine until Jim's girlfriend shouted at him at Mr. Benoitt's , something was off, not quite right, and Y/n will get to the bottem of it.
