Y/n was walking home after band practice with her friends when she heard Toby and Jim screaming, "Sis help!" Jim screamed as a black troll with red-orange eyes chased them. "GET YOUR BAT AND HELP US, PLEASE!" Toby cried, she pulled her bat from her bag and ran after them, she managed to get the troll's attention and lose him in the yards nearby. "You two could've died!" she scolded as she led Jim inside. "Sleep. Now Jim." Y/n said to her younger brother. As Jim walked upstairs Y/n snuck out the door with Maya and Winter, they took out to loose stalklings and a few goblins, it was safe to say Y/n had told her friends about the world beneath Arcadia. They snuck back into their homes and slept, Y/n awoke the next morning and changed into a clean outfit.

"Ughhhhhh, it's morning blegh." Y/n whined as she put her headphones on and put the song 'La gloiren mes genoux' by Le rouge et le noir. She skated to school as usual, and boring day after boring day dragged on for damn near six months, until the battle of the bands sign up came around, and that's when she saw him again. "I'd like to sign my band up please!" Y/n said once the crowd was gone. "And what might the name be darling?" the British man said. "Double Helix is our band name. Our members are Maya, Y/n aka me, and Winter." Y/n replied "And song name goreous?" he asked "Mistress of preaching." Y/n said. "You're in ash dispersal pattern right?" she asked "Yeah, what about it?" he spoke "I'm a fan." she said "Oh, how great." he said "El, did you sign us up?" Maya asked. "Yep! We're in!" Y/n replied, before she could leave Douxie said "Good luck Darling." he said before they walked away.
