The Confession (part 2)

Sonic ran out of station square as fast as he could. He had tears streaming down his peach muzzle and falling on to the ground. He kept running and running. He didn't even know where he was anymore. All he cared about was being as far as possible away from Shadow. He was getting very tired, so he decided to stop running and take a break. He leaned against a giant rock and wiped his tears away. All he could remember were Shadow's harsh words. "I mean nothing to him.....I'm just an obstacle in the way of his life..." He mumbled under his breathe over and over to himself. He couldn't take it anymore, so he slid down the side of the rock and buried his head in his knees. He then began to cry silently. "I-I'm so u-useless..." He spoke to himself, as tears rolled down his face. Then, a bright light appeared in front of the azure hedgehog. He looked up only to see the ebony hedgehog, staring at him. Sonic didn't have any sense of joy or happiness to see him, since he had already crushed him. "W-Why are you h-here Shadow.." Sonic kept his head buried in his knees after seeing the ebony hedgehog. "Listen Sonic, I actually ca-" "I don't want to hear it anymore! You probably just came all the way here to tell me that I'm useless and stupid and that I should just die in a pit!" The blue hero began to cry even harder. Shadow was about to say something, when he got interrupted by a loud banging noise. This made the azure hedgehogs ears perk up in surprise. "W-what was that?!" Sonic then stood up and looked in the sky and found his answer. "Eggman!" Both the ebony and azure hedgehog yelled. Eggman just cackled and pushed a button on his control panel of his hovercraft. About 120 robots then appeared in front of Shadow and Sonic. Shadow began attacking and destroying robots without any problems. Sonic was finding it hard to keep up with all the fighting, since he was still worn out from running for 6 hours straight. Sonic had unfortunately given up on the fight and was extremely tired. He was panting heavily as a bead of sweat rolled down his face. "Haa... t-that all y-y-you got E-Eggman?" The azure hedgehog was too exhausted to notice a giant metal arm coming at him full speed from behind. He turned around to see it but it was too late. The robot arm had a needle in its hand and it had injected the liquid into Sonic's arm. Sonic yelped in pain as the needle jabbed into his arm with full force. "AHH!" The azure hedgehog screamed, which caught the ebony hedgehogs attention. "You alright Sonic?!" The ebony hedgehog wanted to go make sure the blue hero was alright, but he was too busy trying to destroy a robot in his way. Sonic had his arm clenched in his fist as the little hole where the needle went in had a tiny drop of blood leaking out. "Y-yeah I'm F-fi-" He collapsed to the ground, unconscious. "Sonic!!" The ebony hedgehog had finally destroyed the robot and rushed over to Sonic's side. He picked up Sonic's limp body to check for a heartbeat, which he found. Shadow looked up at the fat doctor in anger. "What have you done to him?!" Shadow was so angry, he could've sworn he could strangle Eggman. "Oh Oh Oh! You'll see in due time.. Bye bye suckers!" And Eggman flew away. Shadow started to panic. "Where do I take him? What is wrong with him? Ugh! C'mon think!" Then, Shadow knew exactly where to go. "I'll go visit that fox boy. He'll know what to do." Shadow then grabbed his red chaos emerald from his back quills and chaos controlled to Tails' house.
