Not So Bad

CHAPTER : V

"Umupo ka nga dito, jusko." Minasahe ko ang sentido ko at tinignan ang orasan. Wala lang siyang imik at tumingin lang sa labas. Sige walang aalis, I refuse to be this brat's driver. I leaned in my seat and crossed my arms. "What the hell? I'll be late if you just keep snoozing there!" Napipikon niyang usal at tinignan ko naman siya mula sa mirror at inignore 'rin siya. Bahala na kung malate, pataasan pala ng pride at ego 'eh. She huffed angrily and went out of the car. I mentally smirked when I see her going to the passenger's seat.

She got in and wore her seatbelt. "Hindi naman pala mahirap, diba?" Mag sasalita na sana siya pero I immediately started the car once I heard the 'click' sound sa seatbelt niya. I heard her gasped nang pinabilisan ko ang pag maneho ko. "Are you trying to kill me?!" She angrily shouted at me and I shrugged it off.

"Kung papatayin man kita sana ay tumalon na ako ng kotse para hindi pa ko madamay." Namilog lalo ang kaniyang mata sa galit pero bago pa ulit magwala ito ay pinutulan ko agad siya. "To where?"

She massages her temples. "God! you are so disrespectful! Drop me off in Vennos Villa!" Doon pala siya nakatira sa mga villa na pagmamay-ari nila daddy? Tsk kung ipaalis ko kaya siya kayla dad, kidding.

I nodded and drove to the location. We were quiet the entire drive and I badly regret that I picked her up, it was so awkward. Sinisilip ko siya paminsan minsan at kita naman sa mukha niya na hindi 'rin siya natutuwa o nag e-enjoy sa sitwasyon. At least tumahimik na ang dragon, yun lang ang advantage talaga.

Hindi talaga kami nag usap na hanggang maka-abot kami sa gate ng Vennos. I stopped the car and thinking whether or not ihahatid ko pa siya papasok sa bahay niya mismo.

"Should I drop you here?" Wala na naman siyang imik na lumabas ng kotse at sinarado ang pinto. 'Yon na 'yon? walang thank you??
Napasimangot na lang ako huminga ng malalim bago nag u-turn at umalis na para bumalik sa condo ko. Once I reached my condo, I parked my car and greeted Manong. I went to the elevator and went directly to my floor.

I entered my condo at unang bunggad agad sakin ang isang box na nasa living room ko. Taka ko itong nilapitan at binuksan. Sa loob neto ay isang spaghetti strap na dark green silk dress as well as matching heels. I also saw a letter on top of the dress so kinuha ko ito at binasa ang penmanship na mukhang galing kay Dad.

Wear this for tonight, daughter. Wag na maarte ha? See you there, love you!

I decided not to waste any more time since andaming ko na sinayang na oras. Kinuha ko na ang box at dinala ito sa kwarto ko. I took a quick shower and blow dryed my hair. I wore the dress and heels and wore only light make-up since I dont really know how to put on one. I also wore a necklace given to me by my Dads and a couple of rings to match the dress.

I looked at the mirror and felt satisfied with how I look. I wore the heels and grab a small purse. I took a picture to send sa GC namin kase alam kong mag tatampo na naman ang mga ito. Daig pa mag tampo kala mo mga jowa ko 'eh.
