"yeah," gracie laughed, trying not to trip over charlotte as she kissed her forehead. "it's cozy in here."
"shhh," charlotte laughed, though it wasn't any effort since they were both to the point of bursting out laughing with no idea why, though it was definitely just the alcohol. maybe things would be just a tad bit harder to hide tonight with that in mind.
"hey gracie," olivia called out, making them both pause and cover their laughter. "i'm gonna step out and get more drinks, want something?"
"yeah, sure get me whatever you get!" gracie shouted back.
once olivia left, charlotte stuck out her hand for gracie, "nice bumping into you tonight, but i'm going to go grab a drink as well."
gracie frowned, "i wanna see you more tonight. feels so weird to ignore you when we're in the same place. now i won't be able to get you out my head all night."
charlotte sighed with a flattered grin, "you'll find me at one point. just don't get caught." with that, she pulled gracie in and kissed her, wiping her lip too after to get rid of gracie's lip stick stain on her lip while maintaining eye contact. charlotte slipped away, exiting the stall and the washroom with her heart racing and the dumbest smile on her face.
_
"i'll call a driver soon," charlotte mumbled to maddie, her head resting on her shoulder as she finished her last drink.
"i'll do it, i'm the only one sober enough to not sound stupid," caleb said, rolling his eyes. "where's jude and jenna?"
marcus shrugged, "i don't know, ill go find 'em." marcus got up and disappeared into a crowd, and just as he did so, charlotte saw a glimpse.
olivia's dress.
"i'll go with him," charlotte abruptly said and swooped away before anyone would say anything. eyes on olivia's dress, she followed her down to a lounge, marked VIP. "olivia?"
olivia turned around, "oh hi charlotte. um whatsup?" olivia wasn't that good at hiding her bitchy tone.
"could i um... can i get in there with you?"
olivia blinked, trying to figure out if charlotte was wanting to get in there to fight with gracie or just cause she wanted to hangout. but before she could say anything, one of the security guards stepped towards them.
"aye charlotte parker, come on in," he beamed, clearing the opening of the lounge for her to enter.
olivia opened her mouth to speak but charlotte was already thanking the man and walking into the lounge, eyes darting to the beautiful brunette, now wearing a large black oversized hoodie which read 'sour' on it. charlotte grinned and sat next to gracie.
"hi," she whispered into her ear, her vision a little blurry with the darker lit area and intoxication.
gracie looked at her, "okay i thought you meant to find each other in some place more lowkey," gracie giggled, drunkenly messing with charlotte's end pieces of hair.
"well i'm drunk and my friends won't notice i'm gone now," charlotte shrugged. "and i got only a couple of minutes." charlotte glanced behind her, sighing in relief since olivia was still near the entrance with her back turned. "so c'mon, give me your attention," she whispered to gracie.
without even a millisecond of hesitation, gracie gently grabbed charlotte's jaw line and pulled her in for a kiss, smiling into it with a laugh as she whispered an 'okay.' just as charlotte was about to move in closer, she heard something and inched away, a laugh falling out as gracie looked away and moved as well.
