Part 18: Fight with Dad

I woke up after a long flight and Bucky gave me my shield

Now we are walking in a room

I got heat signatures. Dad said

How many? Steve asked

Uh, one. He said

Then stuff started glowing and I saw people in the containers

Then we heard zemo on the speaker

If it's any comfort, they died in their sleep. He said and we walked up more and saw bullet wounds in their heads

Did you really think I wanted more of you? He asked

What the hell? Bucky asked

I'm grateful to them, though. They brought you here. Zemo said then a light turned on and we saw him through a small glass

My dad aimed at him and Steve threw his shield at the glass but it didn't break

Please, captain. The Soviets built this chamber to withstand a large blast of UR-100 rockets. Zemo said as we walked slowly

I'm betting I could beat that. Dad said

Oh, I'm sure you could, Mr. Stark. Given time. But then you never know why you came. Zemo said as we got closer

You killed innocent people in Vienna just to bring us here? Steve asked

I thought about nothing else for over a year. I studied you. I followed you. But now that you're standing here... I just realized... there's a bit of green in the blue of your eyes. How nice to find a flaw. Zemo said

Sokovian was a failed state long before you blew it to hell. No. I'm here because I made a promise. He said

I lost everyone. And so will you. Zemo said then the screen next to Steve turned on and showed a screen that said 16 December 1991

An empire toppled by its enemies can rise again. But one which crumbles from within? That's dead. Forever. Zemo said and the video played and me dad and Steve watched it

I know that road. What is this? Dad asked but got silence

Then on the video we saw a car crash into a tree right in front of the camera and a guy on a motorcycle pulled right next to the car

I read something about this mission that Bucky went on when he killed my grandparents

I saw my grandfather get out the car crawling on the ground and Bucky walked over to him

Please, help. I heard my grandfather say in the video then Bucky grabbed him by his hair

Sergeant Barnes? Grandfather said

Howard! Grandmother said

Then Bucky hit grandfather in the video in the head with his metal arm while my grandmother said his name then grandfather was dead and Bucky killed my grandmother and made it seem like it was a car accident

And then Bucky got in the camera and shot it

My dad tried to lunge at Bucky but me and Steve grabbed him
