Carcass, a word of death and decay,
In history, it has much to say,
From battlefields to the butcher's floor,
It was a sight hard to ignore.

Famine and disease, brought despair,
Survival meant to hunt and to ensnare,
A word of harshness, a word of fright,
Carcass reminds us of a gruesome sight.
