The Beginning-3

From tranquil seas to mellow hills,
The Kaput empires that once instilled
A sense of duty, an obligation to hold,
And seize opportunities, mighty and bold.

Sophisticated societies, harmonious and refined,
Legendary tales of conquerors, robust and kind.
With vision and ambition, they analyzed,
And provoked change, leaving frustration aside.

But disease and coffee, forbidding at times,
Infecting lands and people, to their prime.
Language and memory, pawn in their hands,
Veiling history with myths and legends, unplanned.

And like a sailor lost at sea,
Overwhelmed by the waves of eternity,
We must construct our path, with analysis and banish doubt,
Embracing the eruptions of change, and never selling out.
