I wish I could be one of your other friends because I give such excellent advice

And I would sit you down and say

"She's not the girl that you meet twice"

I'd say

"you loosing her , letting her sleep away into the night

It's unfortunate you know such a heart breaking sight

She's only been nice to you, you have no idea just how much

Her heart is a masterpiece painting that she's allowed you to touch

And she probably doesn't let anyone know it but she saw something in you

And don't tell me that I'm lying because I know you felt it too

Maybe just for a moment maybe it surprised you more than you know

Maybe it terrified you so deeply that's the reason you let go

Maybe you want someone else

But I saw that look in your eyes when I asked how you felt about her

And you said none of it had been a lie

Maybe you might love her

Maybe you'll always be scared

Maybe you're not ready but maybe you'll never be prepared

She's had you on a pedestal and even when you brutally fell

She put cushioned mats down to ensure you'd still be well

And you can't even talk to her

Apologize for what you've done

And you've always lived in the rain but she offered you the sun"

And I wish I could be one of your other friends

But I'm not so I'll just say

After everything that's happened it's time to walk away
