(A/N. I appreciate everyone's input. I'm going to go with not telling yall what I decided and instead just writing it.)

Wednesday's POV:

Wednesday had asked Yoko, Bianca, Eugene, and Davina all to stay for a couple more days. As they were all closer to Enid than the two other boys. Plus, she just could not deal with Xavier any longer.

Wednesday had thus far kept what had transpired in the forest a secret from her acquaintances. She did not know how to explain to them that she was defenseless in a moment like that. How had she been so stupid?

After Enid and Wednesday shared their first ever kisss, Enid had promptly passed out.

Wednesday carried her as best she could to the edge of the forest. Luckily, her family was already running for the forest when she made it out because she was collapsing not long after everyone noticed the pair.

Wednesday was in and out of consciousness as her mother and father took her and Enid inside.

She could not believe what was happening.

Yoko actually screamed when she saw Enid's lifeless body being rushed inside. Everyone was forced into the main area while Fester and Morticia went to try and revive the werewolf. Calling on all the powers they could muster.

That was all Wednesday could remember of that night. When she finally heard Fester's shout in joy, she was done for. No longer needing to stay half conscious for Enid.

Wednesday woke the next morning. It was excruciatingly painful, and she deduced that she had to have a few broken ribs. Because even breathing was difficult for the young girl.

That was not the issue, though. The issue was that Enid was not awake. Fester had stabilized her, but Yoko had brought extra blood with her, so that was useful. Morticia and Grandmama did all sorts of spells and potions around the room.

When Morticia told Wednesday they would just have to wait, she nearly broke down. Nearly let lose all of the tears she had held back since she was six. But she would not be weak, not in Enid's time of need.

So that brings her to now, sitting Ina makeshift hospital room in her own home. Whispering to Enid's lifeless body. Wondering when this nightmare might end for the first time ever.

"Wednesday." Yoko spoke into the silent room. It made Wednesday flinch. She wanted nobody to see her this much of an emotional wreck.

"You have to go eat something Wednesday. It's nearly dark out again. I'll wait for her, okay?"

Did the vampire not understand what was at stake? What if she walked away and Enid coded. She could never forgive herself.

"I will not move until she is awake. Do not push me." Wednesday bit back, she was in no mood for conversing with anyone. Especially the vampire.

A light hand was pressed on her shoulder. It took everything inside of her not to pin this idiotic excuse for a vampire to the floor. She was Enid's best friend, though. She needed to be respectful.

"Remove your hand at once." Wednesday spoke through gritted teeth.

"No. Wednesday, I know this is hard, but Enid wouldn't want to see you this way."

"Do not tell me what Enid would or would not."

"Fine, but when she wakes up pestering you about your health, don't come to me." Yoko threw her hands up in exasperation. Dropping her head in defeat and exiting the room.

Not but five minutes later, someone else enters.

"Wednesday?"

It's Eugene this time. They must have assumed her could get her to listen better.
