Alright, so this cover is meant to be a surprise for one of my closest friends (whom I still haven't met irl, sadly) to hopefully compensate for the fact that I'm too broke (both virtually and literally) to throw her a "welcome home" party since she came back to Wattpad from a long ass hiatus (even tough we talk to each other basically every day outside of Wattpad 😂)

So, ree, if you're seeing this, SURPRISE! 🙃 Hope this ensures full vindication for my overly dramatic behaviour earlier 😂 (and no offence, but PLEASE, for God's sake, get rid of that trashy cover 😭 My eyes start burning every time I see it and no, it's not because of the two hot gentlemen on the cover or the lava 🥲)

Anyways, the cover took a long while to make. I've been working on it for three or four days now and it was just mostly me trying to friggin fit in the resources properly. I was initially intending to place the mummy behind the pyramid and make it massive so it looked like it was controlling the pyramid sort of (??) and tbh, it looked cool but then I had trouble with fitting in the title because there was so little space.

So after wrestling with the images for a while, I finally settled down to the mummy popping out from the lava. I know, it's not realistic, because mummies have bandages and bandages can burn but well, it's still a supernatural being so even though I don't know where this story is going, I sincerely hope it involves a mummy popping out from the lava at some point in time 😂 Also, I did try to add JungKook and TaeHyung into the cover since they are the main characters of the story but I couldn't find any safe images of them that were relevant to the story and even if I did, I figured that cramming them into an already crammed up cover was probably not a good idea 🥲

And about the text work, I don't love it but I don't hate it either. I feel like I could've done something better, but there was already so much going on in the picture so I tried to keep it as relevant and simple as possible. Hopefully, it looks fine.

Anyways, I don't know if it's evident, but I feel like, maybe my manipulation skills have improved a little bit? 👀
