"A convince? Okay, listen: R, if this "splitting up" thing happens again, you get to toss me into space." Uzi said. "Deal." "Wait, what-"

Crystal's POV

The team splitted up into five groups of two and J is with me. Right now, we're searching around the woods to look for the source of the sound waves. "Hm..I wonder who the person is from here." I said. "Well, I got a feeling that it's some sort of maniac or would still live here..And besides, who on Earth would still be here? All of the worker drones are back on the planet." J said. She's right. No one is here except me and everyone. We kept walking around the woods until I saw something in the distance out of the corner of my eye. I stopped and looked closely at it and noticed that it was an abandoned cabin.

"Hey, there's a cabin there." I said, pointing to the building. "Hm...That's weird. When me and the other two were here, I didn't know that there was a cabin in the woods." J said. "Let's check it out." I said as I took out my wings and flew towards it with J following me from behind. We reached the place, I slightly pushed the door open and it suddenly broke down into pieces. "Huh..Old door as heck." I muttered. "Mhm..." We started to look around the place to look for clues or something. I found some old drawings and old pictures of drones as campers roasting some...batteries? Why are they roasting some batteries on fire?

Then, I remember..Right, they're drones, not humans. But it's still weird to see them using other kinds of stuff or anything related to technology as food or daily things like humans do on a daily basis. "Find anything, J?" I questioned but I didn't hear anything. "J?" I got up and started looking for her. "J? Where are you?" I questioned. Then, I found her in a room that looks like a camper's bunk bed room and she was just standing there. "U-Uh..J?" I went over to her and was about to ask her what happened until I noticed something in her hands. I looked at it, it was a map that had the planet crossed out, except ours.

We're next. Whoever owns this map is targeting or looking for us. "We're next..."

Meanwhile and R POV

"I don't even know why they have to split up in situations like this. It always in bad ways like how Abaddon picks us off one by one and he...He "hurt" Crystal like that. I wish he just could-" I looked around and realized that B isn't around me. "Uh, B? Where are you?" I called out but didn't get a response. Why do things like this happen to us? I started to look around, trying to figure out where B is but I couldn't help noticing some drawings on the trees. I look at one of them on a tree and I...I can't tell what it is. It looks like a worker drone but with..wings but it doesn't look like the ones that a murder drone.

I don't understand what this is all about. There has to be a pattern here..but I don't know what it is yet. Then, I heard a twig snap from behind me but when I turned around, there was nothing there. "Uh..B? If that's you scaring me, I'm not having it right now!" R exclaimed. I took out the laser gun and looked around to find him. I saw a branch fall in front of me that made me frozen in shock and I heard a growling above me. I slowly looked up and saw B but with the same symbol as before every time when she glitches and a different pair of wings. "B-B? Wh-" He pounced towards me but I immediately dodge him for a second.

"B! What's gotten into you?! Are you crazy?!" I shouted but he tried slashing me with his claws but I kept dodging him at the same time. What has gotten into him? I took out my bat and hitted him across the head, causing him to fall to the ground. And I noticed something on his back...A glowing red motherboard clip attached to his system. How did that get there- Wait...it was the same one as Y/N's mother showed to us!

"Something happened to her..She started talking in some sort of language that we couldn't understand and tried to attack us in any way possible."

Whoever put that motherboard in his system is controlling him to attack! I noticed that he was starting to get up, so I quickly hid behind the trees. I watched as he looked around, trying to find me but secretly, I slowly hid in the shadows while he kept crawling around. Then, I immediately tackled to the ground and held him down as he was trying to break free and I ripped the red clip out from his system before jumping off of him. The wings slowly change back to normal, the symbol disappears from his screen and his body begins restarting again. A pair of eyes comes onto the screen as he slowly gets up on his feet.
