A great city lies on the coast of a beautiful lake, which many refer to as the city of gold. A city that hosts over a million people and the largest gold reserve in the world. A city with such a beautiful landscape, that even the gods are in awe of its beauty; mile-long beaches that glow in the day; fields filled with the greatest crops; some of the greatest architecture in the world; however, it lies as the home to people who, supposedly, bombed the Atlas statute. The kings of Atlas want to turn this great city into a ruined wasteland all in the name of a non-existent god.

It was fairly surprising that the region of Atlas even united to fight against their enemy, especially over such a simple issue as a statue, though many speculate they used the statute as a casus belli to attack the second largest church in the world. Their main enemy was the Barbon Empire also known as the Devil of the West. The Barbon Empire is made up of a mixture of Franconians and Alkons, meaning they are descendants of Atlas and Native peoples. Their empire was able to conquer most of the continent, and their influence is strong and far-reaching, yet it seems like the world has suddenly turned against them.

Barbon hosted the church of Baron, the second largest church. A religion that stood for the protection and liberation of oppressed people, the religion is known to have militaristic tendencies and the goal of creating eternal life for all.

It didn’t take long for Atlas to make their first move, fighting erupted on the Island of Baar. The Atlas coalition landed on the Island and overran the light garrison force. Baar wasn’t that important as it was meant to be a jumping point into the unexplored Northern ocean. Baar however did see the first naval engagement between modern ships. The BGS(Barbon Ghoul engaged the HES(his/her excellency’s ship) Life engaged each other off the coast of Baar. These two ships were new battleships and were some of the best ships available. Many thought their engagement would be legendary, but the HES Life was completely decimated. The BGS(Baron’s Great Ship) Ghoul caught the HES Life off guard. The Life was forced to retreat after the Ghoul destroyed most of its heavy cannons and breached its hull, which led to the hull being flooded. Life wasn’t able to reach a port as the water continued to rise. Later that same day, the Life sank off the coast of Baar. The battle of Baar led many to believe that the only way to truly win the war would be the destruction of the Atlas coalition fleet, at least that’s what one Admiral thought. This Admiral, ironically, goes by Admiral or the admiral.

The “Devil” of the west was able to assemble a coalition against the Atlas coalition. The Atlas coalition´s fleet was stationed around the Atlas channel. They were tasked with destroying the Barbon shipping. The Devil’s coalition (as it was called by the Atlas and later by the Barbons, after the war) began moving their fleet towards the Atlas fleet. They would meet in Blood Sea as it was dubbed by sailors. The Barbon fleet consisted of a battleship, four light cruisers, four Ironclads, ten monitors(armored warships), and twelve submarines. The Coalition’s fleet also consisted of one ironclad, four monitors, ten submarines, and two outdated Heavy ships. The coalition wasn’t prepared for an attack of such size compared to the small patrol fleet.

“The blue seas will be tainted with red,” Proudly cheered the Admiral. His crew, however, weren’t so happy that they were about to go into battle and possibly die; however the admiral didn’t care for their concerns. The Admiral put down his binoculars and began looking around. “Enemy fleet ahead!” He cheered. The Admiral was standing on an ironclad that was hidden behind the fleet’s formation. The ships slowly moved towards the coalition’s fleet. They could get the drop on them, but would it be enough? The ships kept moving forward. The Coalition’s fleet was patrolling near the Atlas coast when they spotted the Barbon fleet. “Combat formations!” Yelled the Atlas captain. The Coalition fleet quickly scrambled together. They weren’t ready for an attack, especially so close to coalition waters. The coalition’s disorganized fleet assembled, turning onto their sides and aiming their cannons towards the approaching fleet. “Prepare to fire!” shouted the captain.
