Part 21

Abhi started on his work and Akshu was admiring him and soon sleep engulfed her. Abhi looked at how cutely his Akshu was sleeping. While she was sleeping Abhi finished his work and finished giving Akshu some more meds and he also slept calling it a night. In the morning Abhi woke up early took shower and got ready to see his patients before Akshu wakes up. He asked Rohan to keep an eye on Akshu. While on rounds Abhi saw Aarohi entering the hospital premises. He immediately called Rohan.

Ab- Rohan Dr. Arohi yaha hai aur usse Akshu ke bareme kuch pata nahi chalna chaheye. Mere rounds hochuke hai bas thodi derme aaraha hu. Tab tak Akshu ka khayal rakhna.

Abhi moved towards his cabin. Arohi saw him going to his cabin in hurry she followed him and enter his cabin without knocking.

Ab- WHAT THE HELL tumme koi manners nahi hai kya. Lagta hai tumhari family ne tumhe sikhaya nahi ke kisikebhi cabin me janese phele knock karna hota hai.

Arohi got scared hearing the roar of a lion.

Ar- Dekhiye Dr. Birla me yaha Akshu ke bareme baat karne aayi hu.

Ab- Muje uske baare me kuch baat nahi karni hai. Now please GET OUT.

Ab- Dr. sorry fraud Arohi aab kya bach hai baat karneke liye. Tumne aur tumhari behen ne muje aur meri family ko already bohat dhoka diya hai aab aur kya baki hai.

Ar- Dr. Abhimanyu mene kuch nahi kiya hai sab kuch tumhari Akshu ne kiya tha lekin vo madam to yahase bhag gayi apni nanihal, vaha jake madam aaram farma rahi hai aur yaha mera pura career daav pe laga hai. Arohi felt humiliated as she went out she saw other staff members laughing at her.

Ar- Dr. Abhimanyu Birla you have to pay this. Tumne jo meri insult ki na uski saaza tumhe zarur milegi. Aab me bhi dekhti hu kaise tum tumhari Akshu se milte ho. She leave fuming with anger. Other side Abhi signed in relife as Arohi went away. He made sure she is out of hospital premises before going to Akshu.

Ab- Thank God Arohi ko shak nahi huva. Muje jaldhe kuch karna hoga.

He enter Akshu's room. Rohan went up to him.

Ro- Sir saab thik hai na. Dr. Arohi yaha kya karrahi hai.

Ab- Vo uske internship resume karna chahti hai. Rohan tum please alert rehna. Jabbhi me yaha Akshu ke paas na hu to tum please make sure karna ki Arohi phirse yaha aaye na aur agar aa jai to usse Akshu ke baareme kuch bhi pata na chale.

Ro- Sir Dr. Arohi ek bohathe cunning lady hai vo kuch bhi karke yaha enter karhe legi.

Ab- Rohan tu..

Abhi stopped mid sentence as he saw Akshu is waking up.

Ab- Rohan tum jao aab apne rounds pe me hu yaha Akshu ke paas. Good Morning Akshu. Kaisi rahi tumhari beauty sleep.

Rohan understood and left the room. As He left Dr. Mallik enters the room.

Dr. M- So my MMA fighter kaisi hai? Abhimanyu, Akshara ki progress kaisi hai.

Ak- Goo..od.

Dr. Mallik was happy hearing Akshara.

Dr. M- Dekha me aisehe nahi Akshara ko fighter bulata hu. So Akshara ready yeh sab tubes ko bye bye kehne ke liye.

Ak- Yee..s.

Ab- Dr. Mallik what do you suggest.

Dr. M- Abhimanyu let's do the swallowing test she how well she can tolerate. If she does not have any problem we can think about removing the NG tube. Blood reports are in and looks like the kidneys are functioning properly so we should be able to remove the catheter once sensations are responded. Due to quadriplegia we should prolong the use of catheter for the comfort.

Since Dr. Mallik was talking all medical term Akshu didn't know that they were talking about.

Ab- Alright Akshu ready.

Ak- Haa

Abhi raised the head of the bed and helped Akshu to take her first sip of water after 36 days. Akshu held the water and let that feeling to linger in her mouth and slowly swallowed the water. She did great.

Dr. M- tumne bohat accha kiya fighter hum aisa 4-5 baar aur karenge phir X-Ray karenge tum hare lungs ka aur uun results ke baad hum decide karenge tumhari yeh feeding tube kab niklegi. Abhimanyu please keep me updated and I think the time will soon come when you know what I mean. Please be pratical.

Dr. Mallik leaves. Abhi gave couple more sips of water.

Ab- Akshu tumko aisehe bethna hoga 3-4 ghante taki tumhe pneumonia honeka risk kaam ho ok.

Abhi got busy with getting scans and blood work done of Akshu. The Birla family came to see Akshu but didn't go in the room as the want that whenever Akshu will ask about them than only they will go so that Akshu doesn't get uncomfortable. They see Abhi and Akshu through the room's door window and leave asking Rohan to tell Abhimanyu to update them about Akshara's health progress. Soon the day turn to night and till now Akshu had about a glass of water by mouth and already got chest X-Ray done now just waiting on the results. Abhi was telling Akshu about how his day went that's when a nurse came with the test results. Dr. Mallik followed behind her.

Dr. Mallik- Abhimanyu mene report study karliye hai tumbhi ek baar dekhlo.

Abhi reads the reports and gets happy.

Ab- This is great news. Akshu tumhare lungs clear hai.

Akshu scrunch her eyebrows not understanding what Abhi wants to tell her.

Ab- I mean hume daar tha ki kahi pani tumharelungs me collect na hojai per tumhare lungs bilkul normal hai. So is ka matlab tumhari body properly function karne lagi hai aur aab hum yeh jo tumhari naak me jo tube lagi hai vo nikal sakte hai. Right Dr. Mallik.

Dr. M- Yes Abhimanyu so please proceed with the removal of NG tube.

Ab- ok Akshu ready ek aur tube ko bye bye bolne keliye. Aab jaise me yeh tube nikalunga tumhe thoda uncomfortable feel hoga but don't worry fir turant thik ho jayega ok.

Abhi cleared the tubing and held to to remove it, and on the count of 3 he removed it in one steady motion. Akshu got agitated but Abhi immediately comforted her by cradling her face. and kissing her forehead.

Dr. M- Alright fighter I will see you tomorrow morning good night. Take care Abhimanyu.

After Dr. Mallik leaves Abhi locked the door and put the blinds up. He came to Akshu and kissed her on her lips.

Ab- Akshu me aaj bohat khush hu dhere dhere tumhari sari tube nikal rahi hai aab baas uss dinka intezar hai jab tum finally iss hospitalse discharge hogi aur hum humare ghar jayenge.

Abhi hugged Akshu. Akshu wanted to but she is not able to lift her arms, in fact she is not able to move anything beside her head. Abhi broke the hug and looked towards Akshu and her eyes said everything and Abhi knew by the look in her eyes that it's time to tell the entire truth to Akshu.

So here goes chapter 21 slowly slowly the story is moving towards drama and fights will occur, people will be separated, some will be heartbroken due to the separation, some will enjoy looking at the person that is broken. Keep showering your love in the form of likes and comments.
