Part 16

Next morning Abhi woke up feeling a hand trying to comb his hair. He woke up with a jerk.
Ab- Akshu
Yes Akshu has woken up before Abhi and was looking a her love who was by her side since she first met him. She was feeling guilty and wanted to voice out her guilt to Abhi but her current condition is not letting her pent out her built up guilt. As Abhi woke up she
Ab- Akshu tum....tum thik Hona kahi dard to nahi horaha haina. Accha feel ho raha hai.
Akshu just blinked to all Abhi's questions.
Abhi did Akshu's check up to make sure her vitals are doing good. Abhi was very satisfied with the vitals and the calm sound of his love's heart beat.
Ab- Akshu tumhare sare vitals sahi hai. Abb sab tum khud saas lene lago to yeh ventilator bhi haat jayega aur sath me yeh tube feeding bhi nikal jayegi phir tum normal khana khasakogi.
As he was talking Mahima and Anand come to check on her with Dr. Malik following close behind.
Mh- Akshara kaisi ho tum. Abhimanyu what's the progress.
Ab- vitals are normal. Heart rhythm normal. All incision sites look good. Aab sirf ventilator aur NG-tube hai.
A- yeh to bohat acchi baat hai. Bas aab Akshara jaldi se khudse saas lene lagjaye to yeh sab bhi nikal denge. Dr. Mallik over to you aap check kar lijiye taki Hume pata chale Akshara ka neurological status.
Dr. M- sure.
Dr. Mallik checks Akshara and some worried lines formed on his forehead.
Ab- kya huva dr. Mallik everything alright.
Dr. M- yes yes everything is looking good on the outside so now let's run test and labs to see how everything is looking inside.
Mh- ya sure me ready karvati hu sab testing ke liye aur nurse ko bhejti hu blood draw karne keliye.
Dr. M- aaa Dr. Abhimanyu kya me aap se baat karaaktahu. Nothing serious bas hospital ke bareme baat karni hai. Kuch improvements keliye suggestions dena chata hu. If you don't mind.
Ab- oh no no I don't mind Dr. Mallik. Akshu me abhi aaya baat karke ok tab tak tum aaram karo meri jaan.
Everyone leaves the room. As they were leaving Dr. Mallik stopped them and asked them to move to some private area. So they go in Abhi's cabin as now one dares to enter the cabin of The Abhimanyu Birla without his permission.
Ab- Dr. Mallik everything okay. Aapne kaha ki aap ko hospital ko leke baat karni hai to vo baat hum kahibhi karsakte hai na to phir yaha cabin me kyu.
Dr. M- Dr. Abhimanyu darasal baat Ms. Goenka ki hai and I don't think yeh baat jo me karne jaa rahahu vo unke samne karna sahi hota.
Ab- matlab kya hai aap ka, please jo bhi hai saaf saaf bataiye. Akshu thik hai na.
Dr. M- Aap sab bhi doctors hai so yeh baat to aap bhi jante hai ki Ms. Goenka ko apne haat aur pair hila nahi parahi hai, iska matlab yeh hai ki Akshara ko hume jisbaat ka daar tha vo huva hai. Akshara is suffering from quadriplegia.
As soon as Dr. Mallik said this Abhi's heart fell to the bottom of his stomach. This is what he was hoping should not happen to his Akshu. Somewhere he new that she is suffering from paralysis but was hoping his diagnosis would be proven wrong by Dr. Mallik, but his worst night mares just come true. Tears formed in his eyes and started pouring our of his eyes. He fall on his knees, Mahima went up to him and hugged him.
Mh- Abhimanyu Bacche sambhalo khudko. Tumhe strong rehna hai tumhari Akshu ke liye. Hosla rakho sab thik hojayega.
A- yes Abhimanyu bharosa rakho apne pyaar pe aur medical science pe. Tumhe apni will power strong karni hai aur Akshara ko vapas phele Jesa karna hai.
Dr. M- yes Abhimanyu yeh sach hai ki Akshara quadriplegic hai magar yeh koi permanent nahi hai this is temporary jaisehi brain me swelling kam hoti jaiyegi Akshara ke body movements better hote jayenge aur Akshara filhal thodi thodi movement karsakti hai which is good indication ki this is not permanent and can be improved. Magar yeh sab koi overnight me thik nahi hojayega. Thik honeme time lagega bohat sari physical therapy ki zarurat hogi aur sath me dherrr sara patience chaheye hoga tab jake Akshara phele jesi chal payegi.
Ab- vent kab tab hata payenge aur NG tube bhi kab nikalenge.
A- Akshara ke lungs bohat weak hai aur khudse saas nahi leparahi hai to humme wait karna hoga. Rahi baat NG- tube ki to jab tak vent hai tab tak to humme Akshara to tube feeding pe rakhna hoga. Uske baad hum scans or x-rays karke dekhenge kya status hai phir decision lenge kya karna hai.
A- I think yeh baat Akshara ko pata honi chaheye. It's her body that is going through changes and she has full right to know ki uske sath kya ho rahahai aur aage kya expect karna hai usse.
Mh- NO, stress is not good for her. She needs to be completely stress free taki vo recover ho sake thikse.
Dr. M- I understand aap kya kehna chahteho Dr. Anand, but I agree with Dr. Mahima, Akshara already bohat difficult time se gusar rahihai usme tum jaake yeh batay ki vo kuch saame keliye apne haat aur paav nahi hila payegi to usse shock lagega and we cannot afford any stress on the brain or heart.
A- Hmmm
Ab- Taiji- Tauji please make sure yeh baat kissis ko pata nahi chalni chaheye, Akshu ko me sambhal lunga. Family mese bhi kissis yeh pata nahi chalna chaheye.
Mh- don't worry yeh baat kisis ko pata nahi chalegi.
A-So let's get back to work. Mahima vo Parth aaya hai kya hospital aaj.
Mahima and Anand leaves discussing about Parth. And Dr. Mallik leaves to check on his other patients. Abhi sits by Mahadev's murti.
Ab- Mahadev thank you muje meri Akshu vaapas denekeliye per muje aab bhi aapka sath chaheye Akshu ko vapas phele jaisa karne keliye. Mahadev muje himmat dijiye ki me jaldse jald meri Akshu ko phele jaisa bana saku. Aap ka aashirvad mere aur meri Akshu pe hamesha banaye rakhna. Meri Akshu ko himmat dena usse yeh sab se ladneki takat dena, aur muje meri Akshu ki dhal banneki takat dena mahadev takat dena.
After praying he left to see Akshu. When he enters he see Neil and Manjari sitting there talking random things to Akhsu, he goes near them and that's when he get the clear picture of what they are talking about and why are they laughing so much. Abhi is shell shocked on what he hears and sees.
Ab- MAA yeh sab kya hai. Aap aisa kaise karsakti ho. Aap yeh sab Akhsu ko kyu dikha rahiho. Yeh to sare mere bachpan ke photos hai.
Ne- Ha BHAI humme pata hai, vo kya hai na BHAI mene aur maa ne socha ki bhabhi yaha lete lete bore horahi hogi to hum unkeliye kuch masti vali baate share kare to....
Maa- to humne socha ki kyu na hum Akshu ke sath...
Ab- mere bachpan ke kisse share kare. Maa inn photos me to aadese zyada photos me, aapne muje ladki ki tarha taiyar kiya hai aur bakike photos ki baat he may pucho. Aur yeh sare embarrassing photos aap Akshu ko dikha raheho, vo muje aab chidayehgi.
Ne-BHAI hummara erada BHABHI ko hasaneka tha naki rulaneka, aur aapke bachpan ke kissose zyada funny aur kya hosakta hai. Vase maa ek baat puchni hai yeh BHAI ko app hummesha bachpan me ladkio ki tarha kyu  ready karti thi. Dekhona in sab photos me ya to bhai frocks me hai yah to sirf chaddime.
Neil and Manjari laughed even Akshu had a big smile on her face and seeing that Abhi also laughed.
Maa- vo kya hai na Neil, jaab Abhi honewala thanaa tab muje lagatha muje beti hogi to iss liye mene dherrr sare frocks aur hairbands aur clips kharidi thi per phir muje Abhi huva to mene ussehe yeh sab phena diya. Aur vaisebhi Abhi ke yeh lambe ghane Baal the aur palke bhi itni lambi aur khubsurat thi ki baat hi mat pucho, aur gora bhi bohat tha mera Abhi bachpanme.
Ab- MAA, matlab aab nahi hu kya me gora. Dekho mere Baal aabbhi bohat ache hai aur meri palko pe to meri Akshu fidda hai, kyu sahi kahana mene Akshu.
To which Akshu blind her eyes and tears poured out of her eyes.
Maa- nahi meri bacchi aab bilkul bhi mat rona. Aab to tumhe jaldi se thik hoke apne ghara aana hai apni maa ke pass mere pass. Thik hai aab tum bilkul bhi nahi roogi meri pyari bacchi.
Manjari wipe Akshu's tears and kissed her forehead.
Maa- chal Neil ghar chal lunch ka time horaha hai, aur Abhi tunne to apna breakfast bhi nahi kiya dekh me tere liye laithi.
Ab- Ha maa vo Dr. Mallik aaye the to humsab Akshu ka case study kar rahe the to ussme breakfast karna bhul gaya.
Maa- koi nahi me Neil ke sath lunch bhijvaungi vo time se karlena samje.
Ab- ji Maa karlunga.
Soon Neil and manjari leaves for home and Abhi takes his sit beside Akhsu.

So here is the next chapter. I know it has been really long since I updated any of my stories but I was in full on enjoying my vacation as it got extended and it was fun but now I will try to update my stories on regular basis.
