(A/N- This is Ashton. He's just a random guy I found off of Pintrest)

Ashton's P.O.V

"Where are we moving now?" I ask in an icy tone.

"California. I think this will be our last move." My father says proudly.

I can't help but feel relieved, happy, and upset at the same time.

"Why? Don't you have to do some traveling for work?" I ask suspiciously.

"Well, yes, but they will be for like only two weeks then he'll be able to come back." My mom answers for my dad.

No moving. How great will this be? I could finally have friends and not worry about leaving them. I might be able to even pick up a girlfriend! And California has the best beach and I could work on surf boarding! I'm originally from Florida so I picked up on some surfing tips when I was like eight. Then I moved to Nebraska and had to put my surf board up. Forever I thought. But now I can finally practice what could start to be my passion.

"Well why can't we move back to Illinois then?" My little sister, Emma asks.

I have two sisters. Tarah and Emma. Emma is only like 10 months younger than me so we're in the same grade. People think we're twins but we are definitely NOT.

Tarah is in college. She went back to Florida to study and become a professional photographer. Mom and Dad think it's a waste of time but I think that it's kind of cool. Traveling all over the world taking pictures of things that people will look at and appreciate.

"Because my work base is here, Em." My dad says annoyed.

" Just because your boyfriend lives there, doesn't mean we want to move back there." My mom says, texting her friend, Jamie.

"You guys would probably just break up in a week if we moved there anyways." I say, not even bothering to roll my eyes. She just glares at me.

"You're just jealous because I found somebody before you did!" She says with a nasty sneer.

"Not true! The only reason I don't have a girlfriend is because I choose not to until I know we are here for at least a year! You're just desperate because you knew we were only in Illinois for a month but you dated a guy anyways just to make a scene at the end of the month when we moved. I felt absolutely no emotion cause I didn't get close to anyone. I isolated myself when you were off crying about how you didn't want to leave him and you loved him." I say getting angry.

" I didn't make a scene." She says rolling her eyes.

" You cried for two days ya idiot!" I say shouting now.

"Whatever. You probably won't get a girlfriend while we're hear!" She says shouting also.

"Not if it's only a month, no" I shoot back in sort of a duh tone.

"Whatever you guys! Drop it!" mom says aggravated.

We just arrived in California and it's breathtaking! Palm trees line the streets and the beach. Beach houses twice the size as my old house and a pool in every backyard!

We finally pull up to our home. Well, house. A house is not a home if it's just temporary. So far, it is. I like the move and all but I just wish that it was the last move. But it gets better when I go up to my bedroom and see that it's bigger than my whole old house! A personal bathroom, walk-in closet, window seat, white walls, waiting to be painted, blue carpet, And on the door in neat letters it reads "Ash." My real name is Ashton but my parents and sisters call me Ash.
