Broken Wings (Levi x Reader) {CANCELLED}

Introduction

(Y/n) lived alone in the Shiganshina District of Wall Maria. Her mother lived inside the interior of Wall Sina as a high ranking officer in the Military Police. (Y/n)'s father had passed away what was probably a couple years ago when he ventured outside the walls to explore what the world held outside these walls. He left after he had lost an arm during an exploration that the Scout Regiment went on. (Y/n) looked up to and respected her father and hoped to follow his footsteps into the Scout Regiment.

(Y/n) disliked the she lived a couple years ago in Wall Sina so whe made the choice to move to the Shiganshina District. She was seventeen afterall, she knew she was capable of making without parents. The fact that Armin's grandfather helped her out and gave her food here and there helped a lot and she was very grateful for the help he offered. The best thing that came out of relocating here was the friends she made, mainly Armin. Sure, she was quite a few years older than him, then again he acted more mature than she did sometimes.

(Y/n) had been reading a book near the small stream that flowed through a section of the district when she felt someone tap on her shoulder. She turned around and saw a small statured boy with blonde hair and blue eyes standing behind her giving her a small, shy smile. (Y/n) smiled in return, her (h/c) falling to the side as she looked up slightly at him. Het smile faded instantly as she saw that his face had small cuts on it.

"Armin.. please don't tell me those assholes got to you again," she said sympathetically.

"Yeah.. they did.. I'm fine though! Eren and Mikasa helped me out. Well mostly Mikasa but still, I'm okay," he replied.

(Y/n) sighed aloud as she carefully folded the corner of the page she was reading and placed the book into her shoulder bag. She looked to Armin and patted the ground to her right.

"C'mon, Armin. Sit down," she said. Armin nodded and sat down, leaving space between the two. She looked at him again and sighed once again, nudging him lightly. "..You know your grandfather worries about you, Armin."

Armin sighed. "Yeah.. I know. It's just-"

"Armin!"

(Y/n) and Armin turned and saw Eren running up with Mikasa behind him. Armin looked up at them. "Hey Eren. Hey Mikasa," Armin responded.

"What are you guys doing here?" Eren questioned, looking at the two.

"Nothing," Armin replied, sheepishly

Eren sighed and decided to just let it go. He squeezed in between (Y/n) and Armin as Mikasa stood behind three. They all looked up at the large, gray walls looming over them.

"We're gonna go outside these wall someday, right guys?" Eren asked.

Armin and Mikasa both nodded in unison. The three younger kids looked up at (Y/n).

(Y/n) sighed. She knew about the aspirations of the three kids to go outside the walls. She felt the same way as well, she just didn't express it outwardly like

Eren did. (Y/n) wanted to do as her father did.

"We'll go guys.. we'll go someday," (Y/n) said, a smile on her face.

The four then sat in silence. Words didn't need to be expressed. Each of them knew what the others were thinking. Their moment of desired silence was replaced almost instantly with sheer terror as the ground shook beneath them. The four immediately looked up to the wall to see an enormous hand gripping the top of the wall. (Y/n) then heard screams behind them as a head slowly peered over the walls. What peered over was exactly what the walls were meant to keep out, something nobody was prepared to see. (Y/n) soon heard a booming sound as the wall bursted open, boulders flew through the air in every direction.

Details of the gruesome surroundings flew by (Y/n) as she ran away, gripping Armin's hand in her's. The only things she would ever remember from those moments following the breach would be the blood, the bodies..the screams as struggling civilians were forced into the mouths of titans as they stomped through the cities, shattering everything (Y/n) knew since she got to Wall Maria.

Everything was broken.
