Chapter 9

It's Sunday morning, 8:30 AM

Luke wakes up to the sound of breakfast being cooked downstairs

He groggily sat up and sat on the edge of his bed for a moment

He put on his slides and got up to walk out his room

Heading downstairs to the kitchen, he sees Natsuki sitting at the bar while conversating with Lucy as she cooked

"Natsuki?"

Natsuki turned around with a toothy grin on his face

Luke walked up to him and sat down next to him

"What are you doing here"

"It was boring at home, my dad was at work by the time I woke up, and the maids and butlers aren't interesting, so I decided to come over here"

"I see"

"Yep, luckily I came right when your mom was cooking. I could smell it before I walked in the door"

Lucy chuckled

"I hope it tastes good as well as it smells good"

Lucy handed the boys there plates

Bacon, pan sausages, cheesy scrambled eggs, sweet buttery grits, buttery biscuits, and French toast sticks

Natsuki was the first one to take a bite

Tears of joy came running down his face

"If this is heaven I never want to leave"

Lucy chuckled and Luke just rolled his eyes as he also ate

Lucy's phone beeped and she checked to see who it was

When she saw the message her face went into a tiny of pink

"Mom something wrong?"

Lucy shook her head

"No, nothing's wrong, don't worry hun"

Luke looked at his mom for a moment

"If you say so"

Lucy smiled at looked back at the message on her phone and smiled

The boys were finished eating

They put their plates in the dish water and went upstairs to Luke's room to chill and let their food digest before heading out

"Agh dude, your mom's cooking is the best, I'm so full"

Natsuki laid spread out on Luke's bed reminiscing the taste of the food with drool at the corners of his mouth

"Yea yea, fat ass"

Natsuki then threw a pillow at the back of Luke's head

"You asshole don't call me fat"

A tick grew on Luke's head as he threw the pillow back at Natsuki

They stared at each other for a moment before lunging at each other and fighting
