Hero's path (Linked au x Reader)

Chapter 1

Suddenly I hear someone call "Wolfie where are you? Wolfie!" Wolfie huh? Is that his name? The wolf perked up his ears moving in the direction where the scream was coming from. Soon enough I was met with a bunch of guys.

"Wolfie! There you are!" screamed a kid dressed in a blue tunic that seemed a little too light for this weather. He has blond hair mostly covered by a red bandana, blue eyes and toned skin as if he was on a sun for days maybe some tropical island! He ran to the wolf until he noticed me. "Huh? Who are you? Are you lost? Its dangerous to be out here alone in the woods at this time." He looked at me concern could be seen in his eyes.

"I- uhh was just hanging out here, looking for herbs and some more ingredients" I said looking at the other two guys who were just staring at me. One with a soft smile and the other with a serious expression, it was almost intimidating...Both have blue eyes, and blond hair. The one with nice smile has the hair a bit darker and puffy! Wearing a green tunic, light colored pants and brown boots. The intimidating one had his hair parted in the middle, he is wearing an armor also he is taller than the nice one. Is he a knight or a soldier? I've never seen any of the soldiers in this type of armor tho.

"Who are you? I've never seen you around." They exchanged look and stood quiet eventually waiting for the tall guy to speak. "I'm Time. This is Sky and that is Wind. We are just...travelers. You are?" he looked down at me with his hand stretched out for me to take so he could help me up. I took his offer as I introduced myself "I'm Y/N. I live in a village just outside this forest. If you have nowhere to stay I'm sure you would like our inn!" They all once again exchanged look and nodded.

"That'll be nice thank you." Smiled Wind. "Would it be a problem if there was more then three people?" "No, the inn has a couple of rooms and not many people visit this village"

"Good, Sky would you mind go inform the others?" Sky nodded his head and ran off. "You don't mind waiting for a bit here, right?" I shook my head patting the wolf once more.

Shortly Sky returned with other five guys. All looking different yet same...Blond hair except for two, one had pink hair the other had slightly red hair, blue eyes. One of them was definitively a knight and judging by the smirk on his face a ladies' man as well! "Heard ya found somewhere to stay for us old man" smirked the knight. "You are luckier than you think Warrs. It was all thanks to our furry friend here." Time chuckled ruffling the wolfs fur even tho the wolf clearly didn't like it.

"I have a different question." a guy with fluffy slightly curly hair and freckles pushed through the others pointing at me "Who is that?". I didn't know how to react! There was just too many of them and I'm in no way ready to face so many people and especially strangers! Gosh they could pretty much kill me and no one would know. What do I do? I started to panic, I couldn't talk and it was beginning hard to breath. The wolf must have noticed, he gently bump my hand with his snout, scratching on my skirt to pay attention to him instead. Luckily it worked, the softness of the wolfs fur was enough to calm my nerves. Some of the guys must have noticed as they were looking at me with concern. I still couldn't answer...my voice just wouldn't come out. Skys eyes widened with realization as he stood in front of me and sign something. The others seemed to understand as they relaxed and some of them smiled softly. "Well its nice to meet you Y/N. Let me introduce us and don't worry we won't do any harm." Said the guy with pink hair. "I'm Legend. He is Hyrule" he pointed to himself and then the guy with freckles. Hyrule waved at me with a smile on his face. "The guy in a blue tunic, who obviously needs a haircut, is Wild, next to him with the red hair is Paint and that there is Warrior. P.S. do not give him compliments his ego is already as high as ceiling." Said Legend pointing at each one of them. "I heard that Leg!" screamed Warrior annoyed.

Time turned to me "Can you please takes us to the village? Its already pretty dark." I nodded and leaded the way to the village. I showed them where the Inn was and excused myself. That was enough for me for today...

"Y/N!! Where have you been?!" I turned around to see Link running my way "I haven't seen you the whole day except for morning. Thanks for waking me up by the way..." Link sigh. I just smiled awkwardly at him.

"Cat got your tongue or something?" he looked at me confused. I couldn't do anything out here. I just took his hand and dragged him for a bit to my house until he understood and started walking by my side.

Once inside I took a paper and pen, sat at my desk and started writing everything down for him to read. He took the paper and looked at me puzzled before actually reading it. When he was done, he let out a big sigh "You know the woods aren't save right? And what comes to the wolf...ARE YOU JOKING?!" Link quickly stood from his chair causing for it to fall. I just shrunk in my chair trying to be as little as I could. "That wolf could have killed you! And those guys too!" I took the paper back and quickly wrote an apology. Giving it back to Link with apologetic look hoping for him to stop screaming.

He sighs "okay okay I'm sorry for screaming I know you don't like loud noises. But can you blame me! You are my friend, I was really worried you know..." he shook his head "Anyway its late and you should go to bed. I'll see you tomorrow. Goodnight, Y/N." He closed the door behind him and I was left alone to prepare for sleep.
