It started with hello.

Hello.

I was meeting Joe, Zoe and Alfie at 7pm tonight and I was already running late, luckily Zoe, Joe and Alfie haven't left their house either so we should both be there around the same time. I parked my BMW outside N/Naka at 7:15 and as soon as I started to walk into the restaurant I felt someone jump onto my back.
"ZOEEE!!!" I screamed putting her down on the floor and hugging her.
"This is my boyfriend Alfie." Zoe said introducing me to Alfie.
"Hey!" Alfie said with a chirpy voice.
"Hi it's great to finally meet you!" I said nicely, while accepting his hug.
"You too!" He said.
"This is my brother Joe." Zoe said pulling Joe towards me.
"Hello." Joe said with a husky voice.
"Hello." I said back giving him a hug. It was like fireworks going off inside me waiting to shoot up into the sky all these different colours and feeli-
"Come on then I'm starving!" Zoe moaned snapping me out of my thoughts and dragged us inside.
We sat inside a nice red booth me and Joe on one side and Zalfie on the other.
"You look really nice tonight." Joe said to me flicking through his menu.
"You don't look to bad yourself." I said smirking.
"Oi!." Joe said while playfully hitting my knee underneath the table.
I just shrugged and smirked.
I was really enjoying my night with the Suggs and Mr Deyes until a bleached blonde waitress started flirting with Joe halfway through my meal. I was starting to get really annoyed and Zoe could tell so she asked me and Joe to swap places so I could be on the outside facing Zoe. It was going well from then on and she hadn't said anything to Joe while I was sitting there until she brought our drinks to us and 'accidentally' spilt Zoe's pink lemonade all over my white and silver dress.
"Oh my golly gosh! I am so sorry I must have tripped over a stool!" She said in her strong American accent trying to hide her smirk.
"No no it's fine accidents happen right? Zoe I'm gonna go it's going through my dress." I said bluntly.
"Oh I'll come with you and we can have a girlie night in?" She said even though I knew she wanted to stay with Alfie.
"No it's fine Zo have a good night, bye Alfie bye Joe." I said waving at them.
"Ha you think I'm third wheeling with these lot? I'm coming!" Joe said pointing at Zalfie.
He stumbled out of the booth and elbowed the waitress making me giggle before walking out.
The car ride was mostly me and Joe slagging off that waitress and then singing very loudly to a bunch of silly songs.
I unlocked my apartment letting Joe go in first and the lightly shut the door behind me.
"Wow!" Joe said looking around the room.
"Well my boss brought me this place but it was quite boring at first so I decided to treat myself." I said pointing to the inside cinema.
Joe ran over to the popcorn machine with a grin on his face and got some popcorn and sat down in one of the comfy chairs tapping the one next to him. I quickly joined him getting two beers from the fridge a horror film and a blue blanket. We got underneath the blanket and started to watch the film while slipping at our drinks.
Around halfway through the film Annabelle something touched my shoulder. I turned to look at what is was and noticed it was Joe's arm. I smiled to my self hoping Joe wouldn't see and rested my head on his chest.
"BOO!!!" Zoe screamed jumping up from behind the chairs me and Joe were on.
"Aaahhhh!" Me and Joe both screamed stumbling off the chairs.
"For gods sake Zoe!" Joe said holding his chest with both of his hands. I paused the film so I could hear what Zoe had to say.
"I didn't even hear you come in!" I said practically still shouting.
"Wait she has keys?" Joe said looking confused.
Zoe ended up in a laughing fit on the floor.
"I'm a ninja!" She said between laughs.
"Yeah she has her own set of keys!" I said to Joe.
"Oh, anyway Zoe why are you here?" Joe said looking at Zoe.
"Because we're having a YouTuber party at Tyler's and Alfie's waiting in the car so come ooonnn!" Zoe said motioning Joe to go to the door. "You coming?" Zoe asked me while walking to the door.
"Nah I'm gonna go to bed and have an early night because we have work tomorrow at 6 so don't be late Zoe!" I shouted from the cinema room.
"I won't be, bye Jessica!" She shouted back.
"Yeah bye Jess thanks for the movie." Joe said popping his head around the corner.
"Bye Joe." I said smiling before shutting the door.
Jess. Jess. No one has ever called me Jess before. No one. Sometimes people call me Jessie or JJ as in Jessica James but not Jess.
I was still smiling at the thought of Joe and how great our night has been even though my dress is ruined. I finished taking off my makeup and put my hair up and got into my pyjamas and then it was 9:03 so I decided to go to bed with happy memories of tonight. Am I falling in love? No I can't be. It's the first time I've ever met him. I love myself no one else! Ugh I'm so confused I said to myself while drifting off to sleep. Night Joe.
