It started with hello.

Gone?

-------------JOE'S POV------------
"JESS!!!!" I scream as loud as I possibly can from the other side of the road.
I start running and then I run faster and faster until a car almost hits me but swerves and misses. Instead it ran over. It ran over. It ran over Jessica's leg!
The car never stopped. It just zoomed down the road without a care in the world.
"JESS!!!" I say kneeling down next to her holding her hand. I look down at her leg covered in blood. Tears slid down my face and everything went blurry as a police man hauled me into the back of the ambulance with Jess.
The sirens were going off so loud I could hardly hear anything.
"Is she going to be okay?" I ask the paramedic as she puts a breathing mask on Jessica's face.
"There's hope. There is hope." The paramedic whispers.
Although I knew there was so little hope that she could survive this and would still be okay, somehow the paramedics words seemed to calm me down.
As we enter the hospital several doctors and nurses come rushing to Jessica's side as they lift her up onto another bed and hook her onto a few things.
I was asked to go and wait in the waiting room and call some relatives, and I did, even though I just wanted to stay with Jess.
"Zoe? You need to come to the hospital quickly. Bring Alfie and try and get hold of Jessica's parents." With that I leave Zoe with so many unanswered questions but there's no time.
"Casp? Yeah it's Joe I need you to come down to the hospital. It's Jessica, come quick!" I say before hanging up.
--------------FLASH BACK-------------
"Come on Joe were gonna be late!" I say as I rush around grabbing my Jack Wills hoody.
"Jess calm down it's only Caspar he won't care, he's probably on the toilet taking a poo with the door wide open!" Joe say's seriously before bursting out laughing.
"Hellloo?" Joe says entering the YouTube household.
"Just me. And pizza!" Caspar shouts back.
"Hi Caspar!" I say walking up to him.
"HI JESSICA! I've heard so much about you!" Caspar says loudly taking me into a man hug.
"wanna slice of pizza?" He asks as we all sit down.
"No thanks we just ate a Mc Donald's!" Joe says.
"Phtt not as good as my pizza!"
--------------JESSICA'S POV------------
Joe? I say opening my eyes.
JOE!!! I'm so so sorry!! I love you so much!!! I say running up to him and wrapping my arms around him.
He didn't even flinch. He didn't even notice me. Had he been crying? About what? Then I remembered. Running. Tripping. Smashing. Pain. Darkness. Then I spot myself. Lying on a hospital bed, not too far away from Joe. But if I'm here and I'm also over there then?
"Joe what happened?" Zoe said rushing in through the doors with Alfie on her left and Caspar on her right.
"Where are her parents?" Joe says looking around.
"They um, they're in prison." Zoe says looking at the ground.
"Oh okay. Well uh. Jessica tripped just outside of work and smashed her head on the ground and....."
I couldn't take anymore. I stood there lifeless watching them all cry.
"Mr Sugg?" A nurse said walking up to Joe looking rather worried.
"Yes that's me."
"I have some bad news. Jessica is in a coma, we're not sure for how long. It could last up from a week or so to several years. She may not remember many things when she wakes up, or if she wakes up." The nurse said looking at the ground.
Coma? I'm in a coma? I mean it could explain it but how do I get out of this coma?
JOE HELP! JOE HELP ME. LOOK AT ME PLEASE LOOK AT ME! Nothing would work. I tried and tried and tried. But all I could do was wait. Wait for me to wake up, or wait for me to die. Either way, I don't know how to do either of those things.
I sat down next to Zoe in the waiting area as I watched Joe panic beside my bed.
Oh Zoe. What do I do? I say trying to hold her hands.
"Joe we have some bad news." I hear a nurse say sadly to Joe.
I think I'm gone. Forever.
